Weird decision considering they have Jaxson Hayes. Maybe Griffin just wants to flip Adams down the line

I agree. Pels fans you are getting a good one. No he ain’t shooting the 3.

He is a great nba mind and should help this year. His upside is he could resign at a number around $10 in the future. Then move to the backup as Hayes takes over. They paid a little bit of a price. Is anything else going back to OKC? I hope NAW.

I think the Pels have the front line figured out. Now the question is how do they shape their back court?

Yes he does but Adam’s sures up a perceived need at C. They have the money to get the guy they wanted. Now it’s time to work on the spacing.

It’s Denver’s 2023 first and its lottery protected.

I think Adams influence is worth it, especially to NO who do own so many picks in the next 5 years, and have a decent amount of rookie contracts on the roster already. They should be in the stage of flipping picks IMO, or they’ll end up with depreciating assets like Boston started to.

Think it’s a win/win.

If the Pelicans want to press for the playoffs, I like this for them. OKC gets a pick. Pretty soon Presti will be able to send 10 1st for KAT, 10 1st for Beal, and have his playoff team again.

we havent seen the matching yet but I'm guessing the first is for dumping Bledsoe more than it is getting Adams.

Was there really an Adams market strong enough to warrant not only the protected first but two decent 2nds as well? Was CHA trying to get him or something? I don't ming NOP getting Adams and get that they have a ton of picks but this seems like an overpay. And now OKC will flip Hill to LAC for those 4 2nds Detroit just sent them.

This isn't the most impactful trade for OKC but one of the most impressive. Assets for adams and not taking back Bledsoe is impressive.
