There is no news. Iggy has a fully guaranteed deal of $15m for 2020-21. I believe it’s a team option of the same money for 2021-22 (which obviously gets declined).

There’s a reason all our contracts are being constructed this way.

If Miami can get Ibaka, that would be a massive upgrade -- and would potentially involve or open up a trade involving Olynyk (this would seem to explain why Miami re-signed Leonard) -- but this seems like a long-shot. Paul Millsap or Ersan Ilyasova would be great behind Bam, but I don't know what the market is for them. A guy I had forgotten about, but might be worth signing is DeMarcus Cousins. Marc Gasol would be a great guy to sign if Miami planned to move Olynyk to get a replacement for Crowder.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Crowder. Wilson Chandler, Jeff Green, or Corey Brewer would likely be a cheap alternatives.

I'd sign Marco Belinelli as insurance in case Herro or Robinson got injured.

Realistic scenario

Nunn / Dragic /Vincent
Butler / Herro / Belinelli
Robinson / Iguodala /
Bam / Ilyasova or Crowder / KZ / Precious
Olynyk / Leonard / Cousins (?)

Best-case scenario

Nunn / Dragic /Vincent
Butler / Herro / Belinelli
Robinson / Iguodala /
Bam / Millsap / KZ / Precious
Ibaka / Olynyk / Leonard /

Kinda wish Rob Pelinka was making moves for us this off-season. He’s almost a lock for executive of the year.

Bogdanovic is apparently pretty tight with Gogi...could be some smoke there.

Perhaps Kelly and/or KNunn are being involved in a S&T for Bogi to us?

Anyone smarter than me able to say what kinda deal we could S&T him for while retaining Max flexibility in 2021?

I see us being players at the trade deadline.

Sensing Derozan/LMA as an addition couple months from now.

If Crowder walks a good back up would be trading for Ariza (now on OKC). He expires in 2021. OKC obviously has not use for a veteran like that. He could come cheap

I don't see how we gonna sign Jae without offering multiyear deal. The best is to move on and replace him.
Bring in another solid scorer and a big man (Boogie?) thats all i want.

That's BS.

If we lose Crowder, it's because we overpay Leonard.

Crowder >> Leonard.

Now we can't overpay Crowder because it will prevent us from using the full MLE

I’d rather have meyers for 1 than Jae bae for trae

Since OKC is going full blown, exponential Hinkie, we might as well offer a first and a second for SGA.

Y’all are overrating Jae Crowder sooooo bad! Dude is no more than Clarence Weatherspoon and he had plenty of disappearing acts in the playoffs with his shooting costing us games. Take the one year or suck it Jae

Somehow get Josh Richardson back. That dude is Heat Culture, can play 3 positions, plays hard nosed D and can shoot the 3.

He's like the only player on that entire roster that might be there in 2 years.

Presti went full mad scientist, further then any man went before.

I understand the logic, but question the practicality.

Almost all of those picks are not top 5, so how exactly can you built a good team while adding 5 mid rounders every year? those rookie filled teams will be a mess. So much losing can **** the development of a young player even if they do find a hidden star with one of the picks.

Also, what kind of a star can trade for if all your assets are future non-elite picks? He has no proven players to attach, no top 3 picks from other teams, who exactly wants all these middling picks anyway?

Hinkie would never

He's no star, but he was a very good fit here and no one else on the team brings his skills right now. KZ might, Precious might, but you can't count on them if you're really trying to win now.

We really need a proven Big that can defend and shoot next to Bam, Crowder is the best we found and we might lose him for nothing with no way to replace the skillset.
