There aren't enough first rounders in this world to take that contract with the injury he's coming off of.

That Randle contract is just AIDs to a salary cap.

I know they'll try but wouldn't be surprised at all if Randle returned. If so, I can see Obi as 6th man picking up minutes as a backup to both Mitch and Randle.

I can't see them starting him over Obi, the fanbase & media wouldn't be happy, and it makes the Obi pick seem dumb because everyone is saying he's the most NBA ready player, yet he's not starting?

It can't be both, they can't push him as being NBA ready, then bring him off the bench for a player that not a lot of people like.

If I was the Knicks I'd setup a meeting with Ingram, offer him the max and have him demand the Pelicans to do a S&T.

I'd much rather sign him outright but NO won't let him go for nothing. Maybe a S&T centered around Knox, DSJ, 1 Dallas FRP next year and a couple 2nd rounders. It's not a very lucrative package but at least they'd be getting some assets rather than keeping a disgruntled (if we can convince him to wanting to be here) star on a max deal.

He's my #1 target, unfortunately he's a restricted free agent so the Pelicans can match whatever offer sheet he signs.

Only plausible way to get him is by impressing him with a meeting and him demanding to the Pelicans to allow him to go in a S&T since they absolutely won't let him go for nothing. We'd have to give up some assets but if he went back to NO and made his intentions crystal clear, usually teams don't like keeping guys that could possibly cause locker room issues and they might be amenable at that juncture to a S&T.

It's a lot of variables involved with the #1 issue being that we'd have to be able to get a sitdown with Brandon and he'd want to be excited about the possiblity of coming here and continue his transformation into a #1 option and part of a potentially dynamic duo of him and Barrett.

Wall has the worst contract in the NBA. He's played 70 games the last 3 years. He's had 4 surgeries the last 4.

No team can trade for this guy, I don't see why the rockets would trade Westbrook for him
