People keep bringing up the Kawhi situation.

We didn't have a penny to sign any other players. I don't get this narrative.

Wood, Jamychal Green were signed to good contracts, but multi-year, so waiting for smaller ones or 1 year deals.

Im just glad Masai is being patient. Its obvious he has bigger goals beyond this upcoming season.

Much rather be in our current position than lets say LAC who lost Harrell for 9 mil/year but paid Morris 16mil/year in a desperation move.

It's a sad day when you realize that your value as a player is actually in the fact that you are an expiring contract meant to milk teams of their draft picks. I'm sure that has to factor in a player's decision on his future in the league...
