Hear me out. Knicks seem to be drafting dog type players. Guys that look like they won’t be scared to shoot a jumper.

DSJ is a dog imo. If we are giving him all the confidence in the world that is what guys needs sometimes. Thibs always had a spark plug guard off the bench. DSJ can be that guy.

Frank, y’all already know how I feel about Frank. Never got a shot always had vets infront of him who didn’t deserve to play over him.

This seems to be a real throw them to the fire season. This is going to be exciting folks.

I woulda paid FVV that money but not super upset that he’s not coming here. This wasn’t the year to add free agents anyways. If the kids show some development and we get another top pick we’ll really show some progress in the right direction

I didn’t want FVV but $21 Mill for a guy that averaged 17-6.5-4-2 and 39% from 3PT with great defense and a champion is a great deal. I’ve seen some horrendous contracts the last few years (Brand spending $300 Million on Tobias and Horford). This to me is fair market value.

FVV at $21 Mill is 15X better than Westbrook at $47 Mill.

Some people here really wanted FVV? I enjoy watching him play on the Raptors but the guy would get exposed here, there would be too much responsibility on the guy and he wouldn't be able to handle it over the course of an entire year.

When we are looking at this FA class, we shouldn't be looking for any player that is going to change this franchise, that player doesn't exist in this FA class. We should be looking at players that fit what we want our identity/style to be, then go off of that, not their name. Get guys that fit, at the right price, there is nobody worth taking a major risk in this class.

If we were pursuing him, I believe he took less to stay in Toronto. I really believe he didn’t want to come here. His skill set was not going to turn things around. Knicks need a star
