He'll always be cheered in Orlando. That Tor shot will forever be shown in Magic highlights.

I bet he keeps his house here. I was surprised to see Ibaka kept his place here too.

He was a good leader here, but he just didnt make sense with Cole Anthony. Seeing ridiculous deals Jerami Grant, Beasley got i am glad we went more conservative way. You wont win those deals. Good luck DJ !

Damn. Good for DJ. He's older and he just signed a three-year deal with a contender barely taking a pay cut.

Win-win. I'm happy for DJ, that's a good deal and he's a good pickup for them too...not going to be enough to please Giannis, they need Evan too (I don't know for what)

He deserves a chance for a title and will be missed.

Dj is a guy I would have back in a position with the FO whenever his career is over.

Always liked DJ, was arguably the Magic’s leader really the last couple years. Nothing but good things to say about him. He’ll be missed here.

I liked DJ as a professional and person. But this had to happen in order for Markelle to get 35 mpg.

I could see Cole getting a lot of his minutes. DJ was always patient waiting for his shot and averaged 3.5 3 point shots per game. Cole will likely be more like Devonte Graham who averaged 9.3 3 point shots per game.

Once again happy for DJ and a little sorry he went to an eastern conference team because I know he'll be a Magic killer.

I loved DJ and he made sense in every season we had him besides this last one. He was just used too much while we had a clearly superior and much younger player.

I appreciate what he did for this team, but I'm happy that he's gone. At least he went to a true contender and got paid decently for it.

Right, because few more minutes on the court was what's missing to get Markelle to become a shooter.

Nothing but best wishes for DJ going forward.

Nah his min last year was fine. Going forward he needs to be the unquestioned starter. No more road blocks.

We both know a resigned DJ would've meant more bench time for Markelle especially with Cliff's love for veterans.

Keep on hating Markelle tho

His 3 ball was nice but he’s no point guard and one of the worst defenders in the league. Can’t say I’ll miss him but a great shot against Tor for sure
