We are obviously going to still look at wings, can't go into the season with Thanasis

Meh, I’d go B-. I think people are letting the Bogi debacle color their opinions too much. The team is still better than it was last year and we have two PGs who can contribute in the playoffs now instead of a starter who was a total liability.

Completely agree...

- Jrue >> Bledsoe
- Augustine is a fine replacement for Hill.
- Portis is more productive than RoLo, at this point.
- Losing Wes hurts.

Don't think you grasp how much of an improvement Jrue is over Bled. Bled was unplayable when it mattered. Unplayable

Think we are better, if you look only at the next 24 months. But the price of those picks and swaps sent to NOP outrageous.

We'll see who they can lure on vet min deals but to me there's no way we are worse.

All upgrades so far.
BTW Jrue is an SG, hasn't played PG for 4 years.

Augustin > Bledsoe
Jrue >>> Matthews
Portis > RoLo

Still need a replacement for Ersan and Hill.

If he was a back end of the bench minimum guy I would actually like that solely because Henson is a cool cat

Yeah, we're slightly better for a very big price. Don't think it's worth it.

Can we trade our next first round pick mid season or only during the draft?

100% this, the Bogdan stuff is breaking people's brains. I get it, I am still pissed, but we're gonna be pretty damn good.

This Bogdan "stuff" was the solution on our wall formation problem. By far our biggest problem.
Our starting lineup with Bogdan was perfect. Perfect spacing not allowing double/triple team walls, more types of half court offense etc.

Right now any decent coach will let Donte shoot us to death just to cheat on Giannis. Donte will replace Bledsoe as our wall enabler, any chemistry we had is damaged and we have far worse shooting and depth and our only hope is Bud figuring a way to adapt after 3 seasons.

It feels like we are forgetting that Jrue was the best player on the trade market barring a Harden move. We got the best player on the market. Sucks we missed out on Bogi but DJ and Bobby are solid pickups and we still have some ability to flip dj (he's lowercase now)/DDV/Pat for something in the coming days or during the season.

And some solid players are on the market still. Bazemore and Millsap would be great additions for the minimum potentially. This offseason has been far from a homerun but it hasn't been as bad as some are making it out to be.

Would not be surprised at all if people come to the conclusion that Jrue is better than Middleton, I'm already there.
