Knicks may legitimately be the worst team in the NBA next year, definitely bottom-5 Pistons and Thunder are close but Hornets getting Hayward is big for them

If Giannis came out and said he would not be resigning in Milwaukie and only want to play for the Knicks we could do the same trade right now. RJ, Mitch, Toppin (Knox and Frank if they want them) all our picks, Mavs picks and a couple of swaps. Done.

It's not like the Pelicans were enamored with the Lakers young talent (that everyone thought were trash at the time). It's that AD wanted to play on a WINNING organization.
