I like it just from the "**** Ainge" side of things.

Pretty sure we need to create more space, though.

Ah, I can picture it: a 34 year old Hayward netting 30mm a year sitting in Batum's spot on the bench. At least we're making some traditions here.

Just when our books looked so promising...I can understand a 25 yr old player in his prime...but a 30 yr old injury prone guy?!

Starting salary should be around $28M, need another $9M or so

Just because you have the money doesn’t mean you have to spend it all. This is just dumb.

This such a dumb short sighted move. I was really feeling about this team for like a day.

My guess it is a Rozier sign and trade, but haven't seen anything announced.

Hayward had a pretty good year last year, but he is 30. Injury Prone and will be 34 by time deal ends.

Do not understand this at all for us.

so Charlotte signed him on an 4/$63M offer sheet as a restricted free agent in 2014, Utah matched. then he's in Boston for 4/$120M. plays three years, opts out, signs for 4/$130M Fully Guaranteed back in Charlotte as a free agent. like, did all those teams along the line feel good about the contracts they signed him to? he plays decently, gets hurt a lot, struggles in big spots, and keeps ascending the salary ladder. ok then.
