I am not sure if I should start a new thread or not but I got a change.org petition started to fire WeHam. I know it won't do anything but at least people will know there are other angry and frustrated fans who are still passionate about the team.
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!

Teams that would fit(especially in light of recent moves)...
Gordon: Denver(lost Grant), BRK, MIN, OKC?(tons of picks, may rebuild overnight with young vets)
Fournier: GSW, MIL, any contender looking for an expiring that can knock down 3's all day and not need to ball-dominate
*both would best be sold to a contender making a "desperate" move for that missing piece or to solidify a roster. Look up and down the list of contenders. MIL needs to salvage Giannis at any cost, GSW isn't getting younger, can't waste a season, ditto BRK, DEN is deep but not really solid, BOS has no depth and is losing a big piece, maybe for nothing, PHI is diving in with Morey

We now have a ton of wings signed and re-signed and have the luxury, IMO, of only making a significant upgrade move...if it's not a star, or star potential, or a star with warts or injury risk, we'll probably stand pat or trade at the deadline. I hate it - but ORL can afford to be a little patient...especially in this minimal revenue year without fans or Isaac. WeHam is definitely patient.

Stars in turmoil...Harden(ain't happening), Westbrook(ain't happening), Wall(ain't happening), Blake(ain't happening)

fixed

Why would we have to wait? Unless you're just saying like IF there was a deal they'll probably wait till then.

(not directed at you) Every offseason people on here say how we'll start making changes coming at the deadline or the next offseason and it never happens  can't wait till the WeltHam era is over.

Why would we wait (assuming they DO want to do anything)? Wall, Harden, and Westbrook are throwing tantrums right now and Hayward is floating in limbo for a few more days tops...I'm not narrowing the list to old guys but those guys WILL be moved or talked down very soon. Deadline trades for immediate improvement are tough (unless it's just a role player) because you have to adjust on the fly mid-season. Even a short offseason and a short training camp is way better if you're serious about competing.

Not sure where you got that number, but he was making 7.5m a year with us, originally signing a 4/29m deal

I've been a supporter of keeping AG on this roster, but I think you would have to be borderline idiotic not to trade him at this point. You have to get something back. You can't justify keeping him for the pursuit of the 9th seed next year, && the following offseason he will only have one year left on his deal.

His value is at its peak right now. I would try to move him for a younger player on a rookie contract and a pick if possible.

I thought maybe WeHam would try to be proactive in improving our roster this offseason && that there was a world where keeping AG on this team would make sense, but that didn't happen. Weltman continues to kick the can down the road && I can't justify keeping AG anymore. Eternal purgatory does not interest me whatsoever.

All I have ever asked from this FO is to pick a path and stick to it. But they have refused to do it. I can't accept that as an outcome for this team. Bottom out or build a team that is at the very least a threat to get out of the first and be competitive in a semi-finals series.

If John Wall can walk we should talk about it. Not giving up a ton but would have to match his deal...medicals aside, he's a monster!

I guess I didn't remember that right. This team has been so uninteresting the last 5 years I haven't paid much attention to details. They haven't earned our attention.

Decent rotational players are getting 10 mil a year now. 7 a year for Augustine is a bargain in my opinion.

We are in a pandemic and the NBA said they lost over $1B+ in revenue last year.... they sure aren't spending like it....

I know everybody is frustrated with the possibility of running it back next year but I have a gut feeling the magic have something in the works.

Atlanta, Charlotte, Brooklyn all far better than us now.

Washington could pass us if they make moves.

We have had the worst offseason outside maybe Detroit and Houston. Didn't get better or worse. It was a coward's path.
Look what Presti and Morey were capable of.

TOR, MIL, BOS, BRK, MIA,IND, PHIL - Are CLEARLY better than us.

That is 7.

Our team doesn't get past any of those when all rosters are healthy.

If we were going to finish 10th or 11th I was just hoping we could at least have a little fun while doing it. Guess that's too much to ask for from this franchise.

Charlotte getting agressive, meanwhile our sorry FO made signing the worst player on their roster their priority of FA.

We may seriously finish last in the division, especially if the Raptors and Wizards temporarily swap for the season.
