We really really need one of Merrill/Nwora to not completely suck and be capable of giving us a passable 15-20 min if needed. Not asking for a rookie Brogdon type of impact but one of them has to be serviceable.

Its not like people don't like Donte, the most at least, but he is not a starting SG right now for a contender man, yes he can maybe be better but you don't know that and sorry but even before bubble he was not a starter at least for a contender, he must improve a lot his game something lottery teams can afford but not a team who wants something more.

**** he was not a starter even in his college, we don't have a crystal ball to see the future..SO AS FOR NOW HE IS NOT A STARTER FOR US.

Holiday/Augustin
DDV/Connaughton/Merrill
Middleton/Nwora/Thanasis
Giannis/Wilson
Lopez/Portis

Would assume Mason is on the roster as well. Still would like another bench big and wing.

Think Portis is going to play center and nwora will be a small ball 4. Still need another big and another guard. Augustin starting doesn’t make me feel great either

I guess that’s marginally better, but guard spacing isn’t great with DDV unless you he found his shot in the last 3 months

How was it with Wes and Bledsoe? It will be better with Donte and Holiday

Charlotte needs to clear some money for the Hayward deal. Bucks should absorb Malik Monk into the Jrue trade.

i could give a crap about losing depth for the regular season honestly. only thing that matters is we have 8 guys who are playable in the postseason. any more than that is poor roster management unless its young guys.

if we enter the season with the roster we have now there will be guys clawing over each other half way thru to have marvins job from last year

Best team ever had only 2 good banch players (Kukoc and Kerr). Everybody else on their bench were worse than Pat honestly. Velington, Buchler, Rendy Brown hahaha

I know, I know, we dont have Jordan, Pippen and Rodman in starting 5. But we do have MVP and DPOTY and one more all-star so....

Now seriously, you need 7 players in playoff. That all.

I'm hoping for a sneaky wing pick up. And then we need to get to 8 guys by the time the playoffs start. I like this team more then last year so far.

I agree the team is better for the playoffs than last year but i am not sure it's enough to win the title.Maybe you can get to the finals but this team isn't beating the Lakers. :(

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

But 30 millions per year for Hayward is incredible. Thats how much Jordan had from 1996 to 1998 :)

Forgetting the Bogdan fiasco ever happened, I'd say it's been a pretty good offseason so far, a great one if Giannis resigns. I'd rather have Wes than Pat, but the PG position is considerably better. Portis is better than either Ersan or RoLo. And I'm definitely talking myself into Donte finally becoming an above-average 3-point shooter ... and maybe even DJ getting back to his brief 18-19 form now that Bud can't play Ersan.

I'd love to still see Bazemore, GRIII or Batum (if he's stretched) brought in for SF depth and Vonleh, Kaminsky or Skal for big depth.

The question becomes: Did they improve enough? Philly and Brooklyn will definitely be better. Boston, Miami and Toronto should be at least as good. Hopefully Jrue is enough of a difference maker in the postseason.

This offseason has been an A. We got the best player available in Jrue. I didn't think we had what it took in assets and we were able to keep DDV in the trade. Anything else we do is just gravy. People are 1) underrating how good Jrue is and 2) letting the Bogdan fiasco cloud their judgement.

Batum is now out there. Being waived and stretched by Charlotte.
