If your getting offered 120 or 85 what r u taking?

He got offered over 4 100 from reports i saw last night.

Again, Hayward wanted Indy. Every report said Ainge wanted more than Turner and McDermott. He MASSIVELY **** up. MASSIVELY.

If he was offered 4/100, then the Pacers did not have a competitive offer on the table as I was mentioning earlier. It’s pretty clear Charlotte came in yesterday and probably screwed up talks between the Pacers and Celtics. I’m guessing Gordon went back to both the Pacers and Celtics asking for 4/120 or something close like 4/115, and both were like hell no.

one championship isn't mediocre, my man. Championships are hard - you need all the right moves combined with injury luck. Perk and even to a lesser extent Rasheed's health cost a second championship with the Big 3 era.

It's also selective with the timing. Ainge inherited a rebuild, gave us the big three, then worked another rebuild.

If the Tatum era yields us no titles, then the conversation goes one way. If the Tatum era gets us a chip or three, it goes the other way.

Ainge apologists need to hibernate for the winter.

Things are going to get very ugly around here now.

How in any sense is that a good choice?

They had the ACTUAL damn offer last night, and probably earlier. Everyone and their mom was reporting Hayward to Indy for Turner and someone else.

No Charlotte if Danny pulls the trigger yesterday. Fire Ainge. I'm done with him. 17 years, thank you for tut title but this is UNACCEPTABLE

But why get a 25-year-old two-way center and a 40% 3 pt shooter when you can have Baynes and Ojeleye?

Ainge really has to be on the hot seat.

He didn’t pick Charlotte over Boston. He picked more money vs less money. Charlotte offered more and overpaid AF.

Just like Sixers overpaid for Horford.

Every single report said he wanted to go to Indy. The only way was via S&T. Ainge didnt play ball. What are we doing here

I doubt IND wanted to give Hayward 120 million...so there wasn`t really any deal to make, Turner or no Turner...

Imagine getting mad that Ainge didn't want to give him 4 fully guaranteed years at $30 million lol.

You guys said this last year when he let Al walk after taking that albatross deal.

It’s not really excuse making. Gordon wasn’t taking a 4/100 deal from the Pacers if he had a 4/120 deal from another team on the table. The Pacers/Celtics trade negotiations are a separate thing from this entirely. Neither the Pacers nor the Celtics likely wanted to come close to matching that making ongoing trade negotiations pretty much moot.
