Cry more. So I guess you wanted a 2nd round pick for Hayward at the trade deadline, the same time he was injured?

Thank god you don't run any team.

No I wanted Drummond who looks a whole lot better then the nothing burger we got.

To tell a fellow Celtics to “cry more” when the team we all root for just lost a max guy for nothing is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.

Andre Drummond is awful lol. He was literally dumped for 2 second round picks at the deadline.

You know what’s even more awful, letting your third max player walk in two seasons and not having the foresight to recoup assests when the moment presents itself.

Oh and we’ve still made zero moves as the free agency well begins to dry up and our rivals strengthen...

Your Ainge ball washing is lunacy, but carry on if you like living in banana land.

Yeah, or descending even and he doesn't take much of a hit at all. Start at $32M and we get about $17M tpe.
I don't see anyone else that can make up $10M difference they'd be willing to send us.

That's enough to sign Bogdanovic. But I don't think we'd want to get into tax for that roster.

Yeah, we almost can't use it without offloading Zeller first who then is the same amount of money, lol.

You're insane if you're mad the Celtics didn't offer him that. This is Horford 2.0 where the board was in shambles after he signed with Philly.

That contract is absurd, but you're going to have a hard time convincing me that we're better off losing him for nothing.

If we lose him for nothing, it's because of that absurd contract. The two things go hand in hand, there's no one without the other.

Turner is a shot blocker and can make shots. Doug is solid role player

It wasn't up to Boston it was up to Hayward he took the 30 mil like he should.

The reporters said Ainge wouldn’t budge that’s why Hayward went and found his own deal.

100 million Playoff team vs 120 million rebuild

Hayward didn’t go “find” a deal. Teams send the deals out, especially to their top priorities. I’m sure the Hornets had this offer out to Gordon yesterday evening at 6:01 PM.

I didn’t see one insider post that CHA was even remotely a possibility. If MJ wants to come out of left field and overpay for a dude who hasn’t played more than a half season of basketball in the last 3 years, well than good for him. If Ainge gave him that deal you all would have lit every Chipotle in Boston on fire. So calm down and see where we go.

Nonsense. As of this moment, everyone knows exactly what all the details of the offers were, and the timing of everything. Indy was obviously offering us a great deal, with no drawbacks whatsoever, and Charlotte wasn't playing spoiler until moment's ago.

I'm not mad at Hayward for taking that bag and I'm not mad at Ainge because he didn't overpay him.... what I am mad at Ainge for is that I was calling all last season for trade for "Hayward Insurance"... I wasn't saying to trade Hayward but to just make sure a plan was in place so he didn't have the Horford situation again. Yet here we are. Hindsight is 20/20 and I know it takes two to tango but damn it would be nice if we could have gotten Bogdonavic, Bertans or Kennard/Wood last year at the deadline just so we could have someone to step in to see if these young guys pan out or not.

Ainge at the very least could take Batum and move his expiring with a 1st round pick for Drummond/Horford.

Get some return

Me too. Can we get Ibaka and Baynes?

I'd overpay or we are left with nothing. They have played without Hayward plenty but to literally lose players and upgrade nothing including the bench is a total failure.

Basically this, I’m sure he wanted Indy. The question is how much was Indy willing to offer him

Damn, that's a loss for us. Danny needs to act.

On a serious note, Jae is off the table, too. There's not much left on the market. No idea what Danny's plan is.
Good assessment:
