Maybe Myers has his eyes on somebody else or maybe these players chose other teams over the Warriors. It's not like a ring chaser would choose the Warriors over other teams.

Until they get the DPE approved they only have the $5.3M MLE to work with. Some of these middling players are going for pretty high numbers.

Why is GR III not already signed with the Warriors? It makes too much sense to be hanging out there. Unless he won’t accept the MLE, this should already be done.

Man that sucks if true, I feel like he’d be pretty valuable to us. And the fact that he already knows the system and coaching staff and some of the roster is no small thing in a year when there’s a lot of new pieces to fit together.

That said, I know money is tight and they need to maximize their budget but I’m going to be bummed out if they lowball him and he’s not on the team.

And look at what players are getting. Joe Harris, 14-15 PPG gets almost $19 million a year, Gallinari at under 19 PPG gets over $20 million a year.

KO scored about 19 PPG last season. Probably not on the same efficiency as Harris or Gallinari but he's young and someone will pay him.

With GR3, my guess is he would look for multiyear deal over the minimum. So the only way he would sign with GSW is if no team is willing to offer more than a 1-year minimum deal and he chooses the Warriors over other teams.

Hell, he might be a ring chaser with the LA teams or even team like the Bucks. I would assume he's from the Midwest.

If Oubre plays well and the season is a success, we're absolutely giving him a multi-year deal to keep him. There was a time that Andre Iguodala got $17 mil per to be our sixth man. Paying Oubre $20+ mil per to be our Iguodala going forward is in line with how salaries are increasing.
