Not having a PG doesn't hurt RJ in the least bit. Ideally we should have multiple ball handlers but RJ getting reps as primary creator is good for his long term development. The Wolves used to play LaVine at PG and while he was terrible at it, it helped him become a better playmaker and someone who can now be a secondary creator.

Couldn’t disagree with you more, both players need a point guard to make it easier on their games..not upgrading the point guard situation in the draft or free agency is nothing but an epic failure

I'm all in on that but are the Pelicans even shopping him?

Whether they are shopping him or not, they have a decision on him next off-season and drafting Kira Lewis w/ they’re late lotto shows me that they aren’t sold.

However, I do see Eric Bledsoe and his guaranteed 2yrs (3rd only $3.9 guaranteed) being the guy they try to pawn off on us instead.

The fact that we haven’t really made or been linked to salary dump trades should be concerning to y’all.. Leon might not actually have a plan.. saving cap space does nothing for us.. these players don’t want to come here

Well, who were we supposed to sign that wouldn't set these kids to fail? This FA class was abysmal. We were going to be a bad team one way or another.

I am not upset at us throwing our cap space on someone like FVV after the contract he got. He probably even took a pay cut because it meant staying in TOR. Do you really think he would have accepted the same contract here so he can play with one of the worst teams in the league?

I never wanted FFV because of how much it was going to cost I’m not try to overpay unless it was on a short deal that made sense but outside of that I would have def looked to bring in some Decent guys that fit what we are trying to do my main concern was getting rid of randle though

Presti mastered the art of salary dumps for picks.

The Knicks best version of that in the last decade was taking on Ed Davis for 2 2nds.
