I’m getting sick of all this lakers crap meanwhile this franchise is basically turning into a shell of its former self.

Wait, are you saying we aren't a contender? :waaa:

Was that because we lost Poirier?

I watched nearly all of Charlotte and Denver games last year and Batum and Millsap are both toast. Batum was passive and slow and his shot looked awful. Millsap had a brief heroic moment against the Clippers in the playoffs but he was just as bad. A black hole on offense with zero finishing ability and can’t make an open three to save his life. These are awful options.

Role the dice on a young guy like Giles instead at this point.

Going to be awkward for Kemba. Danny tried to trade him. Celtics organization, culture is a mess now.

Damn right
It's danny's fault that other gms are so bad at there jobs. Wouldn't overpay to keep kemba but does for oft injured Hayward.

Both Walker's and Hayward's are bad deals. But I'd rather sign Hayward to 4/120 than Walker to 4/140. And Walker wanted even more than 4/140 from the Charlotte Hornets. Hayward at least has size/decent strength which helps when he ages. Maybe Jordan likes how Hayward plays the game and wants LaMelo Ball to be mentored by him.

Fans in both directions appear to be overreacting on whether Ainge had an opportunity to cut a deal with Indiana. We just don't know either way and we may never know with certainty since I doubt Hayward or his agent throw Ainge under the bus. Athletes accept the 2nd or 3rd best offer all of the time but admittedly the difference isn't usually 20 million -- very few athletes made as much as the top NBA players. Hayward wanting the cash wouldn't surprise me. Hayward willing to sign for 4/100 from Indiana wouldn't surprise me either.

Maybe Hayward tells the truth of what happened.

Waiving Batum is so dumb. He's an expiring 30m.

Nobody seemed to mind when we signed him 3 seasons ago. Giving him that option was an easy choice to make to get a top 5 SF in the NBA at the time.

Danny just throw a hail mary and sign Boogie Cousins for the full MLE and three years and take the risk on his health. Go big or go home.

I want no more surprises for the day. I just want some familiarity right now.

Guarantee Semi's contract already and sign Wanamaker!!

We are a contender, but he probably will get the kind of 2-3 year deal that the Celtics won't be willing to offer.

We are not contender with the weak bench we have... 2nd round exist if we don’t find a Center to stop Miami nets and bucks

Like someone has just reminded you of, we've just got to the ECF, and we'll be better this year with all our our young guys being older. Only in your mind is that an early exit. Feel free to keep spewing your venom, but at least use facts not fiction.

If whoever we get with the mle is actually available for the playoffs we’ll be better off than our time with Gordo. Wish him well - don’t blame him but we lost a guy that contributed very little to the team’s successes (and failures) the last three years.

If you think the Celtics are going to be a treadmill next year lol ok bud

MIL, MIA, PHI are demonstrably better than the Celtics... Raptors are just as good... So we are the 4th or 5th seed, as things stand at the moment. Fourth or fifth in the East IS the treadmill.

Yawnnnnnnn

You also said the Sixers were best team in East when they signed Horford last year too. In no world are the Heat and Sixers "demonstrably better" lol

Says everything we're learning about Kemba's knee that one will ever have to know.

He's probably been broken from the start and they knew he wouldn't last more than a year or two.

Was helping my parents clean out some storage and audibly screamed WHAt!?

Probably been mentioned here already but if Giannis doesn't end up here, don't tell me Beal won't want out of that dumpster fire in Washington if we have cap space when the time comes
