Ainge f’d up by trusting by Hayward to do a S&T. People should be mad at Hayward too. He is a snake. He did us wrong like he did Utah wrong.

Ainge let some FA’s get away by being all in on an Indy deal that never happened.

Maybe Ainge can get something still from Charlotte but that roster is trash. Danny got played by Hayward.

Nah going from a starting spot with more money on a team that you won a championship with to sign as LeBron's personal ball sucker for a few years is a snake move like Ray Allen.

Hayward got offered vastly more than he ever should have by a team that's paying $9 for the privilege to do it, when he may be done as an effective player in 2 seasons.

Everyone and anyone has to take the deal when someone gives you 20 million more than you should. That's like... 4 endlessly wealthy generations' worth of money for free.

And it's true. 30m a year for a dude averaged like 40 or less games played over the last three years

That’s fine, but who are you replacing him with? At this point it looks like Ainge has to bank on Langford(who’s injured) or Langford(also injured). That’s not a good scenario for a team trying to contend. Supposedly he was in on Shamet, but we here that all the time with Ainge.
Got this guy in the draft this year. Heard he is ok at shooting and is 6'6"

And-1 was for the tweet, not your comment. I'll take Millsap.

Haha that's fair.

Umm why the hell were police officers checking in on Robyn Hayward every day? Does Gordon know about this? Does she have a milkman and a pool boy visiting too?

I think she meant "checking me out" instead of "in on me"

If Ainge didn't want Turner, then he should have had a 3rd team lined up to take Turner. Surely, some other teams value Turner.

He had one really good game, but was unplayable otherwise

I loved Millsap in 2013 something but damn I dont think he's gonna have much good in him left. I got some Jermaine O'Neal's Boston stint vibes but whatever, at least we'll have a Paul back.

If Ainge signed Hayward for 4 yrs/120, would you guys be happy? Because I know for a fact the board would still be in shambles saying "what are you doing paying him that".

Carry on.

The options. Think short and long term

1. Match Hayward 4, 120m

2. Get Hayward turn into $25m in Turner and LcDermott

3. Hayward leaves

If I had to choose, my preference is 3. I hope we can get a tpe for Hayward, but I just can’t stomach 4 years at that cash for Hayward. The Indy deal was dumb. Turner and McDermott are contract dumps by Indy. That doesn’t make us better.

We do have some cap issues with Walker and Tatum extension. We don’t have contracts to trade, which is an issue.

Celtics Had a terrible bench and it got even worse with no shooting except rookies and currently no real big. Great offseason.
