Ignoring the huge variable of no travel, no fans, 5 months off thing is just doing your self a disservice.

Not saying you did that. Just saying this team had issues with philly all year and the results in the bubble aren't a accurate representation of how last season was really trending.

It's arguable they beat the sixers if simmons plays. Celtics dont beat the raps if this was a normal season because the raps have a HUGE hca three

Sixers will better as will the nets and bucks. Heat are legit as are the raps. Celtics are looking at being the 5th or 6th in the east.

Wanamaker, Ojeleye and Javonte Green are happy today. All three might be back

and one minute later he ruins it all LOL

Yeah some people can live with reality and others need to gaslight themselves and everyone else into a fantasy land of rainbows and pink hat homerism.

I don't think one is particularly better than the other. Just different personality types.

Yea it's a matter of coping strategies. We're all different.

You keep saying this, but it means nothing unless IND was willing to go to $120M/4.

Jared Weiss has already reported that they were not willing to go $30M for 4 years.

So IND price was 120? I find that very difficult to believe especially when around the time the story broke it was mentioned that only when trade talks stalled he looked around. If Ainge wasn't greedy then Gordon would be a Pacer. Bottom line.

Read on Twitter

Again if Indiana had the money to sign him outright and only offered 4/100 they probably get him. Too much smoke about Ainge being a dink with the negotiations. Hayward got pissed and Hornets came in with a ridiculous offer. Sucks but it is what it is.

Gordon Hayward’s Celtics career he got paid about $750,000 per game

His agent knows Danny pretty well. Might have known Danny wasn't going to budge on the Indy offer, so they had no choice and took the best deal. I think Gordon holding off on his opt in deadline was proof he was trying to help us out with an Indy deal. The rest I suspect was on Danny.

Where did you have the Celtics finishing last year?

Or two years ago?

Or the year before after Kyrie went down?

But they beat the Sixers and Raps last year. Miami was a 5th seed last year. Last year last year last year.

Millsap is probably the best guy in the league to teach Grant Williams a few things. Robert Williams is a break out waiting to happen.. Got a lot of faith in Romeo too.

Still think Jaylen and Jayson have a few more levels to go also. Minimum internal development alone is probably enough to keep us as a 3rd or 4th seed.

I think it came out last year that Klutch didn't want him in Boston.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most is how Lebron still finds ways to f*ck over the Celtics, even being in the West and after all these years....

- Harrell gets big offer from Charlotte
- Lebron and Rich Paul convince their Klutch client to sign with LA for less
- Charlotte has extra money now
- Offers a kings ransom to Hayward who accepts
- Celtics look like idiots, rinse and repeat

Hilarious and depressing.

Except the sixers are worse than last year and we beat the raps with the literally exact same roster last season. That's before we even make any moves. Not really convinced on the nets either. Gotta wait and see on the heat and bucks but both lost important players and added new ones so we will see. I think Boston is still right there at the top as is

Danny absolutely deserves some criticism but it is a fact that firing him is more likely to be a downgrade than an upgrade. Can we admit that at least?

Danny is dealing with cards 25 other teams don't have. Let him run the hornets and he flunks out of that job just like did with coaching.
Not sure I agree. Celtics aren't a choice destination like LA or Miami. Owners aren't mega billionaires who will overpay no questions asked. Not sure what great cards the Celtics have over most teams. Players don't give a **** about our wins in the 60s.

Are you a player? Do you know one? How do you know what players think of Celtics history? I’ve only ever heard players speak how awesome it is to look up in the rafters at all the banners.
Han shot first!
