Do you really think they're going to make the logical move of bringing in Rondo? He's a difficult personality. Can't have those around Brad. No sir re bob

Still waiting for someone to explain the error he made today. My understanding is that free agents can sign where ever they like.

So IND price was 120? I find that very difficult to believe especially when around the time the story broke it was mentioned that only when trade talks stalled he looked around. If Ainge wasn't greedy then Gordon would be a Pacer. Bottom line.
Again if Indiana had the money to sign him outright and only offered 4/100 they probably get him. Too much smoke about Ainge being a dink with the negotiations. Hayward got pissed and Hornets came in with a ridiculous offer. Sucks but it is what it is.

I think it came out last year that Klutch didn't want him in Boston.
Actions speak louder then words. If players a whole care about it why didn't AD or KD want to here? Why aren't we on Harden's list.l? Why has LBJ never had us on his list? The superstars have never once forced their way here.ShermansShoes wrote:LuckyLeprechaun wrote:Not sure I agree. Celtics aren't a choice destination like LA or Miami. Danny is dealing with cards 25 other teams don't have. Let him run the hornets and he flunks out of that job just like did with coaching.
Are you a player? Do you know one? How do you know what players think of Celtics history? I’ve only ever heard players speak how awesome it is to look up in the rafters at all the banners.

The word, unconfirmed, is that Hayward to Indy was a done deal if DA was willing to accept a package of Turner & McDermott. It is believed that Hayward wanted to go to Indy but Danny's refusal was holding it up. Under those assumptions, he may have pissed off Hayward, and he also gave other teams more time to consider an offer for Hayward.
Most here think that Turner/McDermott was a reasonable offer and that Danny would have been greedy to hold out for more.

Great thats an A+ offseason right there.
Now we can watch Semi get all of Neismiths minutes, and Wanamaker take all of Pritchards minutes....A+

Another guy who made sense. I'm sure if Kemba goes down the guy from Oregon will be a fine replacement...

Isn't it just as likely that Hayward was fielding offers trying to get the best deal he could? And the Hornets blew him away. I don't buy this notion that he was willing to leave millions on the table in what will be his last major deal just to go home and play for a mediocre Pacers team.
