Cool, Bucks finally have an enforcer type again.

I dont think this move was supposed to make anyone play hopscotch. But he can shoot and is a big man.
JackSIKMA43 wrote:I can't say I'm playing hopscotch on the sidewalk over this, it will have to grow on me. Isn't this the guy who said the Bucks will "pay for it" by not drafting him, after he got drafted by our most hated rival? Pretty sure I put him on the crap list at that point.

Why this board so quick to blame horst for what happened damn the hate for him i think is worse than bleds hate but your right though its horst fault fiannis shoots FTs like a 5th grader its horsts fault midds etc cant git a wide open 3 its horsts fault brogdan(sp) screwed not only horst but giannis as well.
Horst did everything giannis wanted him to do yet this board just keeps fricking bashng him over a situation that was all bogdans and his agent.
What the hell was horst supposed to do he had the deal done

Clarification when I mean front office I mean everyone in the top. I don't think horst is to blame. The leak came from someone higher up so in essence I should have said ownership.

He's a pretty solid get at this number. Nice to have a back-up to Giannis that can really fill it up for the first time since....Beasley? Between this, Augustin, and our draft picks, I think they've really improved the shot creation off the bench. Remains to be seen if the defensive trade-off is worth it.

So basically we replaced Hill and Ersan with Augustin and Portis and sold the farm for Jrue.
Eh, ok I guess.

Watching Portis highlights(dirty plays) on YouTube. He's the kind of guy you hate when he does it to your team, but the guy you love and laugh at when he's on your team. One thing I noticed - every time he makes a questionable play/foul that results in injury, he's smirking. He doesn't give a ****. Can't wait to watch him slap Durant across the face in the ECF next season. As for his playstyle, he's got a Darius Miles crossed with Tim Thomas kind of vibe.

I think Portis has always been overrated but this is a whatever deal for a slightly above a whatever player to me. I think he'll be fine in the Marvin role.

This is meh. Maybe Bud can get the best out of him. Curious with the Horst fascination of giving out player options to fringe rotation guys.

It must be the Milwaukee tiebreaker premium? That's all I can think of.

If this current Bucks team had the same money to spend as Atlanta, I do wonder how things would have been different as far as who they could attract.

We joke about the craziness, but if he goes after teams that intentionally hack Giannis it might pay off.

It's probably just a matter of Horst not wanting to actually have to make a decision when it comes to it.

Replaced Hill, Ersan, Wes, RoLo, Korver, and Marvin with Augustin, Portis, and 2 second-round picks in a trash draft. Sold the farm, the house, and a kidney to replace Bledsoe with Jrue.

Bucks are probably a little better than last year, depending on who else they add. As it stands right now I feel they're better but not by much. Better in the playoffs almost certainly.

Korver, RoLo, & Marvin were useless.

Comes down to Holiday, Augustin & Portis vs Bledsoe, Hill, Wes & Ersan.

Off-season isn't over. I'm sure we'll still pick up players more useful than Ersan & Korver. Both were clearly done anyways.
