Hawks looking spooky. Depending on what they do with Goodwin, Skal, their 50th pick Skylar Mays and if they sign Bogdan

PG: Trae, Dunn, Rondo
SG: Bogdan, Huerter, Mays
SF: Gallo, Cam, Snell
PF: Collins, Hunter, Skal
C: Capella, Okongwu, Bruno

Seems like at least 7th seed

Thanks! 7th seed huh? Just curious where would you gage the Warriors to finish next year? It just helps in factoring in your prediction in the whole scheme of things.

Get Bogdanovic and we are competing with Boston, Philly, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Miami for a top 4-5 seed. Toronto and Miami will likely lose some depth. Miami already has.

If we sign Bogi and Skal then Goodwin, Mays and maybe Bruno will probably spend a good bit of time in the G league depending on injuries etc.

I'm kind of worried about the warriors this year :noway: . Klays injury just messed up everything, I believe going forward as well. He is on almost 40mil a year and has not played 2 full seasons. We lack cap flexibility and no FAs want to come play for us and choosing either heat/Lakers. I think we still make the playoffs but maybe 6th or 7th seed and we might have to battle in play in tournament.

It all depends on what version of Steph, Dray, Oubre, Wiggins we get

I think I’m overreacting with my apprehension, but if we still sign Bogi then I’m very happy with this off season. You can’t ever have too many players and I think most of these contracts/players are very tradeable if we need to make some changes mid-season. Now, let’s just complete the Bogi signing and get going!

Do it this way...look at the starting lineup from last season compared to what we already have so far.
It may not fit into a neat little box and that's ok. Hawks lacked talent and quality NBA depth. Talent wins. Hawks got talent.

That’s fair on the Warriors but you’re still lowballing us! Ok maybe I’m highballing us!

That's a killer lineup not to mention Hunter and Cam could see jumps in improvement. Even if Bogdan doesn't get done the Hawks easily look like the most improved team. I love Okongwu he's going to be very good. Love the Rondo signing. Coach Pierce is on the clock to a certain extent. You have to win with this line up. I can see them anywhere between 5th and 7th seed.

Hawks definately hit warp speed on the rebuild. If they add Bogdan a high seed becomes a real possibility

With a couple of teams still interested in SnT for Bogdanovich it might take us doing that to get him. Maybe that’s why we signed Dunn? I wonder which of our kids the Kings would be targeting to create a package along with Dunn. I’d take Dunn over Rondo, but it seemed like Rondo was our target all along.

Fwiw... one fan's stab at how the MPG stats will look at the end of the season...

Image

Imo, only Trae and Collins will get big minutes in virtually every game.

Others will get big minutes in most games, but will get some relatively frequent "load-management" days, too.

Incidentally, also...

- Labissiere is key to going over the cap so that Schlenk can avail himself of the MLE if necessary... as I understand it, we can resign him for up to 120% of his previous salary.

- Skylar is going to end up as a 2-way

- Goodwin's going to end up released (deadline 11/29)

Biggest void is at the 5.

If Capela goes down, there are teams whose starting 5 will likely make for a very long night down low.
