Is it possible that Myers and the Warriors are finished with the team now? Adding extra money is going to the already eye watering amount we are paying in taxes may not be what Lacob wants now.

Korver would be someone to look at, but he's a one-trick pony at 39.
GRIII makes sense.

Still some nice options on the board. It's very weird that Myers isn't making any move. I mean if the management wanted to just give up this season and wait for next season with Klay back why pay so much in taxes to get Oubre ?

And if you pay that much in taxes, then might as well go for the deepest playoff run possible and give Steph at least a puncher's chance.
You can get Rondo for the DPE and get some shooting with 2 of Korver/Austin Rivers/Gerald Green and also Baynes (and trade Looney).

Do you know whether the DPE has been approved? I haven't seen anything on that yet. If not, what "moves", exactly, can Myers make? He doesn't have the cap space to compete with the signings that have been announced so far, so his only "move" that I can see is to wait for those teams with cap space to complete their spending and then he can go after the guys that are left (i.e. are willing to sign for the MLE and vet minimums which is about all we can offer). It certainly isn't clear to me what other "moves" Myers can make.

They're losing out to teams with a full MLE or no state tax. Nothing he can do about that.

We'll know when the DPE is approved, it will be news -- it's not guaranteed, by the way. NBA doctors have to confirm he's out until after the playoffs. Like you say, Myers has the MLE and mins.

I like all the Hawks moves but Rondo. He wanted to stay in LA but they wouldn't give him the same offer, so he took the money to go somewhere he doesn't want to be. He'll get disgruntled and demand a trade, book it.

Somebody mentioned Dedmon -- the Pistons are waiving him, but I don't see room for him on the Warriors.

Yes indeed for the DPE there is no official information yet. So technically there is only the 5.3 MLE, the 2.8 from the rest of the TPE and the hope to attract nice vets. Obviously role players are getting crazy money now which is probably the main reason why there was no move yet for GS. Nevertheless a guy like Bradley for the MLE would have been nice but he probably had tones of options including GS and he picked Miami.

So yeah thinking about it this way this is a tough market for GS. With Klay's injury and that Wiggins contract there is no room for much. We will see who they end up with.

The list is gettin' thinner by the hours:

PG: Reggie Jackson, Austin Rivers, Jeff Teague,
SG: KCP, Kyle Korver,
SF: GRIII, Gerald Green
PF: Carmelo Anthony,
C: Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol, Aaron Baynes, Tristan Thompson, Nerlens Noel, Hassan Whiteside

I am thinking KCP just so LAL can stop the Brogdan wet dream S&T.

Right, but you said you were surprised that Myers hasn't made any moves yet and I still don't know what moves he can make. I like Mr. October, but I'm not sure he would sign for our MLE given that he made $17M last season. My guess is that the team has already notified GR3 that they like him for the vet minimum, but I would also guess that his agent would be advising him not to respond yet in case one of the teams with cap space makes him a better offer. Isn't E'Twaun Moore still available? He is a floor spacer that can play a little defense. He'll be 32 by the end of the season so he might have to settle for a vet minimum.

At this point, I'm hoping for Teague and GR3. I feel like we're going to end up with another roster that lacks toughness. David West is sorely missed.

Hawks looking spooky. Depending on what they do with Goodwin, Skal, their 50th pick Skylar Mays and if they sign Bogdan

PG: Trae, Dunn, Rondo
SG: Bogdan, Huerter, Mays
SF: Gallo, Cam, Snell
PF: Collins, Hunter, Skal
C: Capella, Okongwu, Bruno

Seems like at least 7th seed

I just thought the 9.3M DPE was a formality. But yeah without that at the moment GS can only feed from the scraps after everyone is done already. Well even with that DPE you still have to find a good player with no other option and willing to take it for just 1 year.

Can't shoot but quite a good defender... His offense wouldn't justify big minutes that's for sure but his defense could be valuable against many stars.
