Who is talking about Frank? I’m referring to another year of Payton and Randle playing hero ball while the entire team watches them. Randle is trying to convince himself he can be a team’s #1 option (he won’t be) and Payton is trying to get his value up to get paid (he won’t be). RJ especially had major issues with Payton last season where he was getting ignored on the perimeter.

This is bigger than Frank, it hurts everyone.

And as for the assumption Payton starts, yes it’s not a given but Thibs doesn’t exactly have a stellar track record of prioritizing youth and development over veterans.

You know what the sign of a good to great player is? Signing back with the team that just cut them for half their contract.

You don't get it. The fact that they are bringing back Payton means that the FO is perfectly fine with running it back. Add in the fact that both Payton and Randle are CAA, means that Randle is not getting moved.

Quickley will be lucky to get off the bench buried, behind Payton, Frank and DSJ.

I do get it... they declined Paytons option and paid him less. Its clear they think less of him than last year. I doubt they promised him anything this time around because they didnt have to overpay him to get him.

Look like i said its underwhelming. Im not exactly a fan of it but Payton isnt awful. Hes not great and he very well may not even start but hes competent enough to play well for stretches. Get rid of Randle or at the very least bring him off the bench and the team is a lot more competent.
