God, I would love to wake up some morning and see that Jeff Bezos is interested in tossing 1 or 2 of his 160+ billion $arver's way in order to own this team. I'll give $arver credit though, at least he's not selling draft picks anymore-yet.

I’ll take Bezos or Musk. One of them buying the Suns or the Chargers from cheap bastards like Sarver or Spanos would be the equivalent of the team winning a title for me.

The BAE rules are kind of confusing. I'm pretty sure they used it to sign Diallo last year but I guess since they didn't pick up his second year they can use it again this year?

Edit: I just looked it up and Cheik was a min deal not the BAE.

Can you imagine? Talk about not worrying about the luxury tax, repeater tax, etc.

Isn't Sarver 1 of the poorest owners too? I think MJ has more money (though less now after signing GH to that godawful contract). Musk would be great also, just the press we would get from having one of those actual rich dudes own the team would be amazing. We'd sign everyone while building a stadium that makes the ones in Dallas or Vegas look like something that belongs in a trailer park.

I am sure Aron Baynes is a bit perplexed by the turn of events with the free agency and how the spending is going. I guess the Clippers still have their MLE to throw at him. Boston perhaps.

As for the Suns - still would like a bit more backcourt depth.

David OZ 4PtPlay is trying to will into existence a Baynes for Crowder sign and trade with Miami. I just am not sure Miami needs Baynes with Olynyk there. I just don't see it happening

I think the best chance for an S&T was with the Pelicans

Do have to wonder if the Suns are seeing if anybody gets bought out - say George Hill that they can use the BAE for.

Depending on the length of the MLE deal, wouldn't be surprised if the Suns try to match. If its a 1 or 2 year deal, i would think they would offer Baynes the same to stay in the Valley. But I doubt he gets that much anymore. Might be better for him to sign a 1 year with PHX and see if maybe we are the contender he was looking for.
