Raul Neto would’ve been a better signing.

He’s cheap, he’s a scrub, but he can at least shoot a little. And he won’t milk his little two-man game with his buddy Randle, pound the ball for 23 seconds and freeze out RJ just to get his APGs up to trick another team (in this instance the same damn team) into giving him a new contract.

But he’s CAA so I guess it’s all gravy. Our loss is our gain from a Leon Rose perspective.

A stopgap that can shoot. We just came into a year where shooting matters and they are getting offers from contenders.

Elf/Randle/Mitch was a great combo for us last year

Replacing Mitch with anyone else on the roster is a swing of over 10 points per 100 possessions, going from solidly positive to solidly negative

I don't think Elfrid and Randle were the reason that lineup was good.

Neto has a career average 38% from 3

Elf shot 20% from 3 last year

One percent worse and he would've been half as good a shooter as Neto's career average.

They should just sign Ingram to the maxiest of max offers for PR purposes if anything...sure New Orleans is going to match, but at least it looks like we tried to add the perfect young player to play between RJ and Obi.
