Hell no to Teague. It doesn't need to be a free agent.

Ok, who do you think that we should get?

Trade for George Hill. I wouldn't be surprised if the FO has their eyes set on a few other PGs via trade.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Would require a third team if I'm not mistaken, unless the Pelicans (or is it Thunder?) Idk anymore, want Lou. But should be easy to find imo

Ok, so let's says that the clippers don't win the title this year, is there a free agent willing to come to the clippers next summer to form a big 3?

The question should be, are either Kawhi or PG willing to take a massive discount to make that happen? It's not reasonable to expect us to sign a third star and somehow retain both Kawhi and PG.

The question is also--will any "3rd star" believe in KL and PG enough to even come here? Every other post here is trashing Trezz's playoff collapse while ignoring theirs. Do you really want to get into the trenches with these guys?

Spoiler:

Are they going to have room for another star player?

Lou's salary comes off. How many years does Beverly have? That's a big contract for his production.

Yup, that won't be an issue.

We're still in title contention with Kawhi and PG if they play like they're supposed to play. The only big loss is JaMychal Green. Honestly I'm not really fearful of the Lakers since Dwight left them. That was huge imo. Denver lost Grant and that was a major loss for them. The Clipps are still right there and on course to do big things this year. A backup big and/or a point guard and we're good to go.

Only thing we're seeing is people watching all the moves the LA LeBrons made and thinking the front office should be rushing to make moves instead of doing their due diligence. Didn't want Rondo or Dunn. No need to sign a PG just because. It needs to make sense for the team at the end of the day. The front office didn't go full Simple Jack overnight...lol

yeah

if the team thought rondo was so vital they'd have give him 18.6 for 2 years and called it a day

Teague can run offense better than George Hill and you don’t have to trade for him.

One is a former all star and the other isn’t

Hmm, how do you all feel about him fitting in with the clippers? Is he a great facilitator and great defender?

We need someone who provides lineup flexibility in the playoffs and isn't a negative on defense. Hill is the better shooter and defender. Teague is a walking turnover and a disaster on defense. He shouldn't see the floor in crunch time.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Thompson would have been a solid add, but we need a reserve big who can space the floor.

Regarding Rozier, I'm not the biggest fan but he can defend when he's engaged, he can create off the bounce and he fits next to Kennard with the second unit.
