i mean, it was in his own article that it really was about mitch and not payton

Mitch did the heavy lifting for Payton's numbers

I mean, to be fair, Payton had the best Net of our PGs with Mitch, and the difference was far more pronounced for DSJ (-6.4 w/ Mitch, -30 without), and Frank was -3.2 w/ Mitch, -3.9 w/out, but the math supports the fact that Mitch was the impact player

Also, another fun fact, Payton was -.6 w/Randle, and -16 without him

You’d be better off playing RJ 40mpg and Frank 35mpg than this. Frank and RJ the two best offensive influencers on the team.

objectively, Elfrid was a horrendous fit for this team because he can't shoot (and we badly need shooting) and he played a selfish 2-man game w/ Randle. Haliburton would've been great b/c he is an unselfish playmaker who is a knockdown spot-up shooter

Dude can't stay healthy. Richard brings up a fair point about wings. There seems to be a surplus on the team generally.
