I cant endure a Payton/RJ/Bullock(Frank)/Randle/Mitch starter team season.

I am almost rooting for some stupid trade to happen.

Has anyone given so thought to the fact that Payton may be an amazing locker room guy. I'm wondering if thats why they resigned. He's there to provide guidance and mentorship to the kids. It's the only thing that I can think of. Seems like a good guy, doesn't get in trouble and may be a truly positive influence on the younger kids.

Then they could have hired a priest or something. Wouldn't count against the cap. Wouldn't take a roster spot. Probably wouldn't pound the ball(s) since all the Knicks are over 18.

Signing these guys to offer sheets never works. If the Knicks really value Ingram, and I think he’s overrated likely, then give up assets and make a trade.
