This makes no sense! Is Azubuike going to play in the G-League for 3 years now? WTF just happened? The only thing that would make this even remotely reasonable is if we are preparing to trade or lose Rudy in FA? But then this FO would be even more stupid than if they just spent a 1st round pick on a player who won't see the floor for 3 years.

Funny we drafted Bradley with Favors and now Udoka with Favors likely in mind already. Gobert+Favors is the most solid C duo in the league and yet we feel the need to draft C’s to secure it.

Apparently we have signed Jake Toolson. He impressed me quite a bit last year with BYU. I would love to take a look at Yoeli Childs as well.

I hate BYU but that doesn't mean I can't admit that they are talented.

1. Gobert
2. Bogdanovic
3. O'Neale
4. Mitchell
5. Conley
6. Favors
7. Ingles
8. Clarkson
9. Niang
10. Udoka
11. Morgan
12. Brantley
13. Oni
14. Hughes

Tucker
NWG

One roster spot left, and it appears we will be over the tax anyways so BAE is in play here. Shaq Harrison would be a great get to finish out the roster.

Perimeter defense still lacking. I think Jazz could be a great spot for Harkless, RHJ, or Dunn. Leaning towards Kris Dunn for the last spot

So much for Harkless and Dunn. Harkless is the long athletic defender that we desperately needed and Dunn is the pit bull defender that would have been nice. RHJ is next in line of aggressive wing defenders available. The issue though is can we afford a wing that doesn't shoot the 3 with no stretch bigs.

Great signing for the bucks. He is a great fit next to Lopez and Giannis.

Hayward to Charlotte for 4/120... WTF? He must have really liked Charlotte when he signed the offer sheet in ... 2014?

Hot take...Hayward is very close to the level he was at before the injury. He just fell behind Tatum, Brown, Kemba, in touches/opportunity.

That said, still not sure this is a great signing. Unless LaMelo plays much better in the NBA than he did in AUS, this is still probably not a playoff team.

3 ways we could go about the last foster spot:

1. Vet presence
2. Prospect
3. Someone we expect to play (BAE)

Seems like the Jazz really believe in Oni...Batum is a good vet presence who can maybe still play.

The question is... does Batum want to play in Utah? Gobert needs to get on the phone.

If we did move Conley I’d want to keep Mudiay.
Sort of surprised the Jazz haven’t made an effort to keep him. I didn’t watch every game last season, but the ones I watched I was impressed with Mudiays play.

Regardless where he goes I wish him the best. His story is cool. His play was good. He seems like a cool guy.

To me it looks like the ol' PG/ballhandler position is a little weak w/o Mudiay, but the team is still lacking in athletic, long wings, as well. Is there another trade out there? Can Brantley &/or Oni take a big step into those roles? FA? Problem with adding a FA wing is, who do you take out of the rotation? Clarkson, Ingles, Bojan, O'Neale? (Also, I'm not certain what kind of cap space they have left at this point.)

PG: Conley, Mitchell
SG: Mitchell, Clarkson, O'Neale, Oni
SF: Ingles, Bojan, O'Neale, Brantley, Oni
PF: Bojan, O'Neale, Favors, Niang
C: Gobert, Favors, Azubuike

Bojan cannot play PF...... It's why the Jazz started O'Neale at that spot...... Who starts there now, Faves or O'Neale is up in the air, but it won't be Bojan.......

I don't disagree. I HATE him at the PF. He's a terrible rebounder and defender, doesn't have the length or athleticism to do any good at that spot.... but he still played a lot there last season. I don't think Favs starts, but i could be wrong.

Torrey Craig is available. I think he’s a bit overrated compare to common opinion...but he’s the type of player we should be looking for.

Bojan problem at PF is he has to maintain his effort which over the course of a normal 82 game season he can't do. The moment he takes a play off and doesn't do the little things like box out he will be punished as he doesn't have the size and athleticism to recover. The same can obviously be said for most players but with Favors back, another year of development in Morgan (who I rate) and any potential remaining signing we should be able to afford Bojan less minutes playing the 4 and fighting out of his weight class.

I’d prefer Shaq Harrison, but either over most of the bench we had last year. Probably get either for minimum.
