If the Pat C contract isn’t:

A) A very clever way to salary match in a sign-and-trade for BB

Or

B) A Giannis mandatory signing

Then Horst needs to pack up and GTFOH

Horst needs to go. This is just inexcusable. He's clearly way over his head.

My gut feeling right now is that the lineup is going to be Augustine, Holiday, Middleton, Giannis, Lopez. Unless they can find a starting level shooting guard. Holiday did the best when Rondo was running the point.

What if it was simply retaining an NBA player that we otherwise would have lost while not really impacting other moves?

Also Horst should not be the GM.

Adding Jrue plus a hopeful Donte breaking out party makes us far better this year.

I didnt do it when i was saying trade Parker after 2 years, i didn't about Thon, his age and basketball abilities, i didnt about Plumlee and Snell when i was crying about their contracts and many attacked me, i didnt when i said that with Bledsoe we can't win a championship BUT I WILL DO IT THIS TIME...

Just joking... i hope for once   i'm wrong.

As I've stated the whole way I think he's a good player who would have helped this team and would coexist really well on this roster. With that said I think he's pretty overrated from a skills standpoint. I think the player he has been in the NBA is nowhere near the pedestal he's on. Maybe he breaks out on this next contract but really I haven't seen a ton of people clamoring for the player that maybe he might break out into at 28 but rather the player that he has been, which really hasn't been much of a (for lack of a better term) needle mover in the NBA.

I said i'm not talking about Bogdan Baddy, its clear for me that we need something better.

Our difference is that i don't want to expect for someone to become much better than he is to have a chance for a championsip, Miami was not a contender when the Nba started but they become one because 2 young white guys came out of nowhere and a trade about Iguodala becoming a Crowder one, well done Miami, what can i say.. bravo, but most of the times this is not happening.

Torrey Craig would be a good pickup as a reserve wing.

Pretty massive divide between playoff Bledsoe and playoff Jrue.

If we have to go through Miami again, I sure like Portis against Bam rather than Marvin.

Final thought for now. We basically swapped Bledsoe, Hill, Wes, Marvin, RoLo & Ersan for Holiday, Augustin & Portis (so far).

3 of those guys were either unplayable or shouldn’t have seen the court. 1 was a game away from retirement. 1 was guaranteed to f*** up in the playoffs. Only one that was useful was Hill but it’s clear he wasn’t gonna be enough to win a title. Especially not at his age.

All this time, hoping for something more despite the rich history staring me in the face. I can't believe I didn't see this before.

Was hoping for more commitment to kcp as a teammate but this is just "congrats on the contract"

If Giannis turns down the supermax and we go to the finals... then what?

If the Lakers sign Bogdan, I wonder if Wes renegs and comes home.
