played about 20 mins a game for the Celts last season. Around 45% fg, 36% from 3 (both rose considerably in the playoffs ) Nearly 93% from the line too

Anyone that shoots 90%+ from FT is a shooter. It’s all about shot selection for him. Average-slightly above average defender of I remember correctly as well. Good low cost signing.

Nothing wrong with Wannamaker considering what Myers had to work with.

Not Silver but, "This exception is granted by the league, based on an application from the team and a determination by an NBA-designated physician or Fitness to Play panel that the player is substantially more likely than not to be unable to play through the following June 15."

Because of the weird season, I would think that rather than June 15 it would be after the playoffs, maybe before the Finals. But yeah, they need approval before they can use the exception.

Lakers are in trouble ...they didn't resign Rondo....didn't land Avery Bradly. They have a huge issue at point guard.

Weird...but Warriors could be in a driver's seat position if they can somehow snag Ibaka. Ibaka as our starting center next to Draymond give Warriors an advantage...or at least draw even with Lakers AD ...without back up.

If I'm the Warriors THIS is the move....get Ibaka.

Curry, Wiggins, Oubre, Green, Ibaka....that is a better COMPLETE line up than Lakers or Clippers IMO.

Woj is reporting the Clippers are expected to sign Ibaka to a 2 year 19 million dollar deal. There goes that idea. I’d love for Ibaka to be a Warrior though

Let me quibble slightly....it was 36.7 % from 3 which is 37%.....sorry I know I’m annoying. I’ll see my way out.

Ibaka was the dream and if Klay were heat you’d have to think we’d be in on that.

Klays injury changes the land scape

Every FA I've ever heard of is getting huge $$ this year. Props to the Dubs owners for spending huge lux tax just to pick up anybody. Looks to me like the Lakers are getting rings again this year unless LBJ or AD gets hurt. But you never know. Now that Ibaka has signed with the Clips, does that give the Dubs any possible inside track on Gasol? Or will somebody pay him $20M too?

Also -- anybody know if Poole has done anything to improve his game/outside shooting over the past 8 months? He was anything but impressive last year.

Gasol should only command the mid level. If anyone pays him $20M I say let them have him.

Someone will give Gasol a same deal like Ibaka. He is not going to play for 5.3M.

In theory yes. But there still wouldn't be a way to make the money work right?

Father time has caught up w/ Gasol, His numbers are way down but he can be good in spurts still and would be more of a mentor ala David West for the Dubs anyways.

Looks like Elf Payton went back to the Knicks. Oh well

Right. Couldn't pay him what the Clippers did.
