I’d still go for Bogi. If you can’t get him I wouldn’t mind overpaying for VanVleet. I’d also kick the tires on a trade for a 2 way wing like Norman Powell if FVV does resign.

Once Bogi signs we have an army on our hands. We’d still have a few million left too.

With the additions of OO, Gallo, Dunn and hopefully Bogi we should easily make the playoffs and I believe possibly move up to top 4 or 5. I cant remember the last time I was so excited about a Hawks team. This team will be deeper than the 2015 ECF squad. Our entire bench could be starters on many teams!

Working theory.

NYK is figuring out what they're doing. And there are a couple of near-blockbuster options that no one is talking about all that much, but a very few have.

Now that NYK has the most space, Bog has to see what happens.

Concurrently, there likely are some S&T proposals being floated to SAC... by us, and almost certainly by NYK too as they figure out what they're doing, and quite possibly others.

Watching more tape of BogBog than ever before, I have to say, he strikes me as someone who genuinely has potential to be a better-than-average defender because his IQ and his athleticism are both fairly stout.

Just heard in NBA radio that’s it’s between us and the Knicks for Bogi. {the guy that shall remain nameless that wanted Sexton and loves Favors and lives in a sac} he’s one of your guys! Wowwww. Well, it’s one of the guys you least hate I guess.

KCP RESIGNS WITH LAL, so they are out of the running for Bogi.
Knicks now a player. I wonder if they jump in late with a Hornet style offer.

And Knicks signed Noel, Payton, and Burks. Both teams should have right at 20 million left. Knicks can offer the no. 1 option, Hawks can offer a team way more ready to make a playoff run. Money is the same.

Indy has jumped in the fray for Bogdon. Possibly SnT for Turner.

But they dont need a SG, oh never mind. He needs to make up his mind, because we still have other targets that we want to go ahead.

They need a 3 and they want to move Turner’s contract to get it. Sabonis is best at center and bubble TJ Warren took off playing the 4 when Sabonis was injured and they want to keep him at the 4. So Bogs would be the 3 and then move to SG in 2021 if Oladipo bolts.I think Sacramento would prefer this deal as well.

It's safe to assume Bogdon gave the Kings his list of teams so they're just taking the best offers. We must keep any future first we have for the future when we pursue Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Seems some people questioning if BogBog is worth ~$18m.

This is a depressed economy, though, and thus, a buyer's market for us.

In a more normal year where the cap has expanded several million, and where there were several teams with room, that would not be the case, of course.

And BogBog, while not an All-Star, is certainly in that tier of players whose performance is indicative of being on the rise as he goes into those prime 28-30 years.

So, this is a no-brainer to me. In fact, this is really the ONE off-season signing that I could completely embrace as being of significant importance and well-grounded.
