Definitely didn't think he'd be a 3, but I didn't expect him to be 4 or higher. I expected the Luka treatment. He was 3.5 with 5 potential last year and Trae was 3.5 with 4.5 potential.

I earlier predicted 3.5 with 5 potential for Zion. I also predicted a wing to fall out of the list and both PG and Ingram did. So, more than ever, I am expecting 4 stars for Whiteside.

I feel like Paul George gave a star to Trae for him to be that five star. I had the Pelicans second overall in my rankings, might have to redo that ranking.

I got bored and simulated my team on Next gen Nba 2k21

I finished 60-22

Tatum: 22.5 PPG 5.5 RPG 2.8 APG
Lavine: 21.6 PPG 3.6 RPG 4.2 APG
Murray: 16.3 PPG 2.8 RPG 6.1 APG
Ayton: 15.8 PPG 11.5 RPG 2.4 APG
Bam: 15.0 PPG 11.7 RPG 6.0 APG
Randle: 12.0 PPG 5.3 RPG 1.9 APG

Some other stuff
Lamelo won ROY
Giannis won MVP
Dinwiddie won 6th man of the year
JJJ was an all star
Obi Toppin led all rookies in scoring at 17.5 PPG
Killian Hayes led all rookies in assists at 5.7 APG
Wiseman led all rookies in RPG at 8.8 RPG

Tristan Thompson 3 star C on a pretty damn affordable contract 60/2 years, is available. Just signed with the Celtics which is a perfect fit for him to put up some really good numbers.

I was secretly being greedy and wanted 4.5 stars but happy with 4

But shocked at that Trae 5 star. Pelicans are going to be a problem.

Hopefully I can get my key role players rated at 3 or 3.5

Couple of things I've noticed as I've begun inputting the rosters.

There seem to be many more players in this years version of the sim. Only four players that were on rosters were not in the sim and had to be moved to that teams EL.

Charlotte- Nikola Mirotic
Detroit- Jose Calderon
Indiana- Sam Merrill
Orlando- Khalil Whitney

Also, there are only 29 other players currently on teams EL's that are not in the sim. 41 players on teams EL's will need to be activated or waived (if the team has the cap room to do so) if those players have an NBA contract at any point from here until the end of the year. I will let you know in the next few days as I go through each player if you need to make a corresponding roster move to fix your EL.

Finally, Rokas Jokubaitis was in the NBA draft when we held our draft in October. He went undrafted during the BaF draft and was signed by Indiana during FA. Last week Jokubaitis pulled himself out of the actual NBA draft. Since this happened after our draft/FA was complete and everyone had an equal shot to both draft and sign him, I am not taking him off of the Pacers EL. If he reenters the draft next season, he will not be eligible to be drafted as he is already in BaF. In BaF world, he never pulled out of the draft, went undrafted and signed as an undrafted FA with the Pacers.

Ibaka to the Clips. Sim god on a bargain contract on a team where he’ll have an opportunity to really put up some solid numbers. Love it
