People drooling over Cris Levert: you realize Levert's deal runs for 3 more years and is worth $17,500,000 for 2021 / Giannis FA? Getting Levert in a Serge S&T would kill the Giannis dream.

LeVert has enough value on his own that you can probably deal him to another team if required and probably still get another asset. Expand it to a 3 team deal or even just hold onto him until you're more certain that you're getting a max FA then deal him at the deadline or draft etc. IF Serge really wants the Nets. make them pay through the nose for it.

KD may want to play GM but ultimately unless Serge is dumb enough to give up nearly half of what he stands to earn to reunite with him, the Nets have to make it worthwhile for us.

Ibaka played more than Gasol in the playoffs... Perhaps he should've played more, but the fact remains. Plus Nurse has helped Ibaka expand his game quite a bit.

we can, though if we're really worried about the capspace we can just expand it to a 3-team deal now. Maybe send LeVert to the Pacers for Oladipo+1st? :dontknow:

One guy is being pushed to retirement while the other guy is highly sought after. Clearly the minute distribution shouldn't have even been close.

Come on. Serge made a lot of money here. Even slightly overpaid probably, and MLSE foot his bill. He won a Chip here. He's been used to playing behind the legend of the Gasol brothers in Spain forever. He's got no grudge.

Of course but only on a 1 year deal. That is why he could be asking for a sign and trade for longer term money if he doesn't like the offer the raptors made.

Majority of the nba would be willing to do that for him. Just has to make sense for us at that point.
