Maybe we go take the Turner and McDermott offer? I've wanted Myles Turner in Sacramento for a while now.

Turner being part of any S&T will be my biggest crow of the offseason.

I really thought he was worth a top 5 pick. Covington two years ago type value.

Have a couple of 2nd's and give us that TPE.
I don't think they'd do it unless the Celtics found a way for them not to have to stretch batum

I think they're in a similar spot with Turner/Sabonis that we are with Bogdan/Buddy. It's not really ideal to have two guys that play the same spot so I think weakens the leverage you have since teams know eventually it's probably in your best interest to move one of them. Bogi for Turner makes sense for both teams in my opinion.

We helped with the Rozier S&T for the TPE, seems like it would just be repaying the favour

Didn't they give you some 2nds or something for your trouble?

Didn't NOP offer #4 for Turner last draft? Crazy how long ago that feels.

He’s still really really good. I don’t understand these rumors.

Oh I completely agree with you. Turner's value is one of the things I have to eat crow on (or maybe it is Hayward's value I have to eat crow on?). I'm a big Turner fan so it was surprising for sure to see his rumored value this offseason.

I'd be pretty choked as Indiana if I had to give up Turner while Milwaukee only had to give up DDV. Is that "officially" part of the rumour or only speculation?

We took salary back. If that happens again too, we'd really have something.

Wonder if the Lakers could've gotten Serge if they didn't jump at Montrezl. If so that's rough for them

LAL learned their lesson about waiting on an ex raptor last season.

Something I say over and over that people cannot seem to get through their heads.

Analytics is king in the modern NBA. Think “Moneyball”. So every factor is looked at.

Including games missed due toni jury for cost and win share.

The keenest GM’s understand that if you have a guy who is more talented but misses 20+ games a year on average, and a guy who had a little less talent but plays 72+ every year, the numbers ultimately favor the lesser guy.

Super clutch move to get Ibaka, who will still be a difference maker in those 2 years.
