Is there anyway we can trade for Drummond? Cavs don't want him and he's an expiring contract. Can we trade for him first and then process the papers for Fred?

Still some decent options out there. I'm hoping for Baynes/Cousins + Biz/Giles. A trade for Turner would be cool, but his salary takes us out of a max slot in '21.

This is what we get for making fun of the Celtics frontcourt last year.

Hope we can get Baynes and Biyombo on one-year deals. Wouldn't mind a flyer on Cousins either. Whiteside would be the last resort.

Knowing we are probably only offering a one year deal, there’s no way we were getting Harrell or Jakob - considering they signed multiple year deals at higher numbers. The biggest miss was probably TT, though he’s not a great fit offensively anyways.

I’d throw a 15-20 mill one year deal at Whiteside. I really think Lowry can get the best from him.

Certainly McGee and Baines are pretty serviceable for the low utility role Nurse has in mind for that Center position. Wouldn’t mind that at all but we are going to be pretty bad offensively without Marc and Ibaka

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

To be honest, I don't think losing Serge hurts us that much. For starters, even if we brought back Serge and Marc, the Raptors still wouldn't have enough to compete against the Celtics, Heat, Bucks or a revamped Sixers. NN didn't even use Serge down the stretch against the Celtics and he's clearly in the decline of his career, why not develop someone at that position that can compete for us in 2-3 years? Why not develop OG into a more athletic version of Draymond Green? It was pretty affective against the Celtics and it would prepare the Raptors for a potential Siakam, Giannis, OG front court.

At this point, just bring back Gasol for 1 year 15 million, bring in a Harry Giles for 3 years 12 million, add a Illysova is we want to and call it a day. Move Lowry, Norm, Gasol for assets during the deadline and prepare for a crazy 2021 free agency.

Overpay, he's a proven malcontent and was bleeding points on defense vs the Lakers.

He couldn't buy in for Spoelstra and Riley, so there's a good chance Nurse and Masai can't get him set straight either

Cousins, Biz and Giles on 1 year deals please. Or 2 years with a team option.

We can't denounce the rights to Fred because we won't retain his bird rights to go over the cap.

We don't have any good contracts to match Drummond's contract either unfortunately.

Btw, AD still hasn't officially signed. Stay optimistic, that could be a reasonable upgrade on Ibaka.

Who are you bidding against? nobody is going to offer him anything more than the MLE. Id rather take a crack at developing Giles or a Kaminsky.

We should trade for Zubac and Reggie Perry. Stanley, McCaw, TDII future pick. Then sign Giles.

As of right now it's like Rest Of NBA vs Toronto Hobbits.
Very confused by the Ibaka move. Who knows what was being offered by the Raps but an MLE deal to Clips is just weird.

Time to find a way to move Kyle for horford. Only way to salvage the front court at this point.
