Time to recalibrate.

I still have faith in our brass's ability to cobble together a decent big man rotation in some creative way. Our big fish is supposed to be next year and I still think we can be a good team this year.

Do you see what's left? You could easily do worse...

2019-20 Stats
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG
15.5 13.5 1.2 0.4 2.9
U cant do worse than a guy who only cares about his boxscore and 0 about actually winning and giving effort. Yet again shaq had to call him out on public television for his lack of effort which was clear as day to see and whitesides response was to say shaq got owned by dame in a rap battle...

Hes a clown with 0 accountability, the heat couldn't get rid of him fast enough and theres no way masai brings him in.

Definitely has his issues, just like the other FA C's available. But if it's a 1 year deal that's relatively cheap for him you're not stuck with him long term if he doesn't pan out. We're not going to be in contention this year.
He's shown he can be effective, and in areas we lack right now (rebounding/shot blocking)

I have to admit I really thought Ibaka would had received much more than that!! $19M for 2 yrs is a hair above scrub pay-band these days!! Shocking!

I’d like 2 of Gasol, Baynes, Giles. That would fill in the position nicely. I’d imagine the easiest way is Gasol, Giles and then bring back some of our guys on min deals (Boucher, Rhj, Brisset etc)

Should have known Ibaka was leaving because the last time he was a free agent we signed him quick. Fact that it took longer this year for him to decide should have been a sign. lol

The moment I saw him post that picture of him in that private jet I felt he was gone....Ballmer probably paid for that as well

no one else had capspace to offer him. So the decision was either a larger amount with us for 1 year, or somewhere else for the MLE, or trying to make a s&t happen.

Maybe send Stanley home for Tony Bradley?
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Very confused/disappointed in Ibaka's decision. Clips just have so little depth, especially with Harrell and Green leaving. To sign there for a 2 year MLE really doesn't add up to me.

ya sure the guy had a bad sprain and was basically out for the whole year.

Even if he improves, he's 2-3 yrs from being in rotation
