Haha I always laugh at the commentary (no matter who is doing it), if it is a major favorite vs a huge underdog, they always go crazy over the smallest things. Maia lands a grazing right hand, "Whoa!!!!", while Valentina is just piecing her up.

Haha texted my friend the same thing. They do it too when their favored fighter is getting owned all match and lands a punch here or there “But a really nice overhand there!”

Not really a close match but closer than expected due partially to Maia’s toughness, but also a seemingly weird game plan by Valentina

Yup, either their favorite fighter or a huge underdog. The Khabib/Iaquinta fight is a great example of this. Khabib still won all 5 rounds with ease, but Al landed a couple okay shots and they were going crazy over it.

A very GSP-esque gameplan by Valentina.

It's like flipping a coin with Rogan. Sometimes he is great and other times - like today - he is awful.

It's like he's actually living out that whole "how many kindergartners in a row could you beat up?" hypothetical in real life.
