I know it’s late. Can anyone give me a current update on the past 8 hours? What’s this about bogdonovich?

When the players get paid this much, don’t be surprised when they make demands and ultimatums.

The owners make more and more money. The players make more and more money. Neither gives a crap about the fans.

When was the last time fans benefited? Had there been a time where the owners say we are making so much that we are going to reduce ticket prices?

The Hornets already have him, why would they give away Monk?

I think Danny is trying to get a trade exception.

Fans have access to every game on ad-supported TV. Owners obviously feel that fulfils their main community obligation, and they're entitled to charge in-person attendees whatever they're willing to pay.

Do you think they're wrong to feel like that?

We used mle on Tristan thompson. Not sure on Jeff teague but it's one year something. Rumor has it from sources we are making it a sign and trade with Hayward. For what we have no idea. Random media said guessing they can then sign boggy from the kings sign and trade for 20m and stay under lux tax hard cap. The last piece is speculation not any rumor at all. But we could get a nice tpe to use now at 21m or next year starts at 30.

can somebody please give me a kwick summ of the charlotte s/t possibility
why would they work with us instead of just signing him
MUCHOS GRACIAS !!!

To sign Hayward outright required stretch-waiving Batum's last year of $27mil to three years of $9mil.

At $30 mil average for Hayward, this for all intents and purposes makes it like they're paying $40 for Hayward. It's insane.

Of course, now that they've committed, they're trying to figure out a way to not have to do that, which requires Boston cooperating on a S&T.

Now there's obviously something in it for us as well, in that we can generated a huge TPE from it, worth Haywar'ds first-year salary minus any salary we take back from them in the S&T.

I'm not good with all these analytics but how likely do you guys think it is we actually get something of value, and what from Charlotte?

To get his salary off the books. I don't know that we want him, but it's realistic to consider taking him back (as opposed to Batum).

Danny definitely trying to get a tpe. But doing an s&t helps cha save $9m a year for the next 3 by not stretching Batam. There should be mutual interest.

Monk is super talented but has some character and work ethic issues. Pretty telling quite from Calipari here about how he’s never been coached hard and needs more structure.

There’s also next to zero chance they give us Monk or anyone on their team with any sort of value so it’s irrelevant.

I still wouldn't start Bogdan. That would be a terrible defensive backcourt alongside Kemba.

Kemba | Smart | Brown | Tatum | Thompson
Teague | Bogdan | Nesmith | Grant | Theis
Pritchard | Edwards | Langford | Semi | Rob

Not too shabby at all. Under tax. Bogdan complains about his role 2 weeks into the season and destroys team chemistry.

Cs move him and Thompson before the deadline to Indiana for... Myles Turner and TJ Warren!

Of course when I went sleep, we signed two guys. Off season doesn’t look as bad as it did when I did go sleep.

Probably done enough to be a homecourt team in the playoffs again.
