Time to sign Pops-Mensah Bonsu to seven 10-day contracts for the 70 game regular season.

I would offer Whiteside the full MLE for next season with a team option for the second year. He had a good year in Portland as a Nurkic replacement and I don't really see any other team out there who really needs him. He is a top 5 rebounder in the NBA and the best shot blocker. He has a lot of flaws but he would temporarily solve some of our rebounding problems. Also imagine what our perimeter defense could do with that kind of shot blocker behind them. I know we played a lot of 5 out in the last couple season but having a rim runner would give Lowry and Van vleet another option when they get inside with the trees.

i don't think nurse is too fond of bigs who can't at least be a threat from 3, so i'd expect Gasol or Baynes to be primary targets on 1-year deals.

I’m fully expecting a trade now. I can’t see us going into the season with a Center rotation that’ll be just scrubs only. We’ve gotta make a move. Doesn’t need to be a blockbuster. Just someone

Imagine if we resign Marc, Boucher, RHJ, Watson and call it an offseason.

I think Baynes is a nice target for us. Baynes and Marc would be more than fine. Not sure Marc wants an NBA gig, though. If he does he'd be better served elsewhere than with us if he wants to play for something. Boucher might get a shot and put up 16-8. Who knows. We weren' t playing for anything net season anyway. It's going to be hard to draw in quality guys now. Thinking used to be the C position was the easiest to fill for the least amount of money.

If there is a way to bring in Aldridge for a reasonable price, I would be very happy with him as the starting center.

did you not see gasol this season ? Did you not see all those bricks ? You can ask any big to brick those 3’s smh what the f.... nobody was guarding him for a reason! It’s because they wanted him to shoot it.

Hell JV probably hit as much of his summer 3’s when he was here as gasol made last season. “Nurse doesn't like bigs that can’t shoot the 3” You can ask anybody to take those shots and they’ll probably make as much of them as he did.

We don’t need bengay knees gasol back so nurse can over play him. #Defundtheraptors don’t buy jerseys

That seals the deal. I am no longer a Rators fan. I’ve been a fan since 1972 and season ticket holder since 1980. I will not be renewing my plan nor will I ever watch this team again. I am moving over to The Lakers where it looks like they know how to run a basketball team.

Even if Gasol returns, I would like to see Nurse experiment with these 5 guys as one of our primary units. I know we'd be ridiculously short but it was really effective in the playoffs. I want to see more of it.

Believing in masai and Bobby comes with a line and that line is bengay knees gasol. This move just screams desperate.

Dad’s still a speed demon. WE DON’T CARE!!

Whiteside needs to be in the low IQ category. One of the worst BBIQs in the league, by far.

Bringing back gasol is a old leafs type Gary Roberts, eric lindros, Wendell Clarke (when he was done) move to milk fans for money. Gasol is finished!!!! I we appreciate what he did to help us win a ring but you need to understand when a player f...... finished. The Celtics were ignoring him for a reason!

This is all MLSE!! This is right out of their old playbook on how to sucker Toronto fans to keep the money rolling. We’re not going back to those days. Go on the Raptors page and tell them how you feel
