We obviously lowballed Serge. This is what he meant when he said it was out of his hands. He's still a $20m a season player today but we didn't want to pay the tax and the market had dried up by late last night. I think this is sort of a lose lose situation. Raptors get weaker, Ibaka gets less money. Clippers do improve but I think Lakers are still clear favourites.

Man I still don't get wtf happend. He said he wanted to be here repeatedly and the chemistry seemed great with all the guys, so why leave for something we can match?

nah, he has won already. there is something else. Morris got 4y/64! same age: That should have been his benchmark at worst.

Clippers made it as far as we did in the playoffs and he went to a more difficult western conference on a team that has never made the conference finals.

Plus he already won a ring and he doesn't strike me as a guy that would ring chase, but I could be wrong. Hopefully we find out the reason behind it all.

Yeah, the fact that Morris got that much more than he did from the same team is very surprising. There's no world in which I would rather have Morris than Ibaka for even the same amount of money. It'll be very interesting to hear Serge's explanation for this move, assuming that one of the Raptors beat writers actually has the awareness to ask, the first chance they get.

Willing to bet that the Ibaka the clippers get is probably work about 2 years / 19 million. I do think we've probably seen the best we'll see from him. I would have rather seen him go somewhere else though, man.

The fact we were able to turn T Ross into Ibaka was a blessing.

That said, he made some bone headed decisions. Felt like the offense came to a halt when the ball hit his hands. Still, we was a good contributor and sometimes bailed us out offensively.

Trust coach has his eyes on someone that fits better and Bobby is working on making it happen.

Like many have said i will miss serg off the court more than on. Some great moments filled with equally as many "wtf serg" moments. His last parting wtf moment was signing with the clippers.
