Yeah that is a really bad lineup, if we trade Randle for future assets that roster might be just as bad.

I mean maybe 20 years of losing and a horrible owner doesn’t make them pussies but intelligent at making decisions.

Christian Wood is the only contract that ive seen so far that I've thought was a good deal, and that was a 3 year commitment, which seems like a no no for our current position.
Go Knicks!

Only two ways I see this, either thibs thinks he can get a lot more out of what we have (I believe this to some degree) or whatever we trade Randle/Mitch for explains our moves or lack there of..
But you don’t hire Thibs and tank on purpose..

Re: Are we trying to tank already?
This off-season has been fine. No panicking and throwing out massive contracts to win 32 games. We made some cheap signings to fill out the roster and drafted. That’s about it. If someone wants to send salary our way for picks I’m all for it.
There’s no quick fix to this. We have to draft well and assemble a real crop of prospects and then add long term pieces. It sucks but it’s the way.

NBA needs to stop screwing us in the draft. Nobody wants to come here for whatever reason so how bout you give us a top pick. And change the damn lottery back.
