Very underrated young man with a good feel for the game. He got dimez too. Great backup for the min, hopefully he stays healthy.

This was on my wishlist. I think theres a great chance you see big improvements out of him outside of Sacramento.

Legendary HS player who has never been healthy but signed on a minimum deal, could be Portland's best move this summer if he ever gets healthy

I doubt he ever develops to the high potential he once had but as a 5th big there is no risk involved.

Great signing by Olshey. Does anyone know how much per are paying? I assume this is costing us the full BAE.

His numbers are actually a hell of a lot better than Collins. Though if he suddenly starts playing really good we don't have his bird rights or anything do we.

Sam Amick saying it’s for the minimum.

I like the move. A position of need, filled with a low-risk, potentially high reward player in Giles. Really thought Gabriel could have filled the role of 5th big, but Giles could prove to be a better get.

Welcome to the team Harry.

His PER-36 numbers are impressive. This dude definitely can ball but can't stay healthy.
So it looks like a classic Olshey's reclamation project that will never pan out.

But I like to see him as a 3rd string option at C anyway.

I’m really shocked the Kings let him go. I thought they were really high on him and he had shown good promise. To get Giles on a min deal is a no-brainer.

The in vs out on the Blazers this offseason has been pretty impressive.

I love the moves this year.
Covington
Jones
Giles
Kantor as a backup- did great for us 2 years ago.

Let's throw the dice and I bet Jones or Giles will pan out.

How could he not break out on a completely irrelevant Kings squad three years in a row?

This is my question. Health, skills, whatever the drawbacks are, this is a huge red flag to me.

I'm expecting a highly skilled big man on broken wheels, sorta like a mini version of Sabonis. He very young and once a super athlete. We will see what he can do.

Don't worry, Portland has the best medical staff in the league for big men.
