At this point a viable option would be Aaron Baynes but it would be nice to have Gasol back in a limited role to guard Embiid and Vujevic!

DeMarcus Cousins continues to recover from the left knee injury that cost him his 2019-20 campaign and may not be ready to play on an opening day roster next month.

There haven’t been any specific setbacks, Cousins’ agent Jeff Schwartz tells SLAM, but the former All-Star is intent on returning at full strength and in a situation that’s going to be a good fit for him.

Cousins received offers back in June as teams looked to fortify their rosters for the bubble but turned them all down in order to continue to focus on a rehabilitation process complicated by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

After three serious lower body injuries in two seasons, it’s of utmost importance that Cousins is fully ready before he suits up and plays.

Though Schwartz says Cousins is ‘very close’ to ready, it’s the second half of the season that’s going to matter for the 30-year-old in a pivotal comeback season.

Next off-season gonna be massive for the Raptors. COuld be a lot of Raptors Turnover on the Roster. I suspect thats why the Raps just have been low-key this off-season and just trying to preserve as much money as they can

If Lakers want Gasol.....that mean they're out on Markieff Morris.

At this point why not bring him in? Lol. He's close to Lowry right?

Yeah Raps are going to be extremely active like the Bucks have been this offseason. If they miss out on Giannis....than they going after more people. Regardless of the situation, Masai will be adding to the core group of players you listed.

Bucks, 76ers, Celtics all got better while we got significantly worse.
I still believe Masai has something up his sleeve though so I'm not too worried.

How did the Celtics get better? They lost Hayward for nothing. Replaced Wannamker with teague. And Replaced knater with Tristan Thompson.

Lowry is gone i think next summer maybe even a trade candidate mid season. Looking at what Joe Harris got OG could be very expensive next summer to re-sign, Powell too

If Lowry continues these 1 yr deals, you keep him. He's another Chris Paul. High effect on the team and can still play. You just ride him out while groomin his replacements FVV/Flynn.

OG will be re-signed, theres no doubt.

Pascal and Fred locked up now.

You keep that space for 2021 and if its not Giannis it will be someone else.

Makes absolutely no sense. We have a starting C and back-up C spot open and the guy signs to be a 3rd string C.

Consider how far they made it in the playoffs without Hayward. They won't miss him at all. They're better with Smart in the starting lineup. Fortunately, Ainge's greed cost them a Myles Turner or an Oladipo.
Replacing Wannamaker with Teague is neither an upgrade or downgrade.
But going from Kanter to Tristan Thompson is definitely a significant upgrade.
