Are we starting Smarty?

I've been thinking in terms of:
Kemba
Smart
JB
JT
TT or DT

But we could also go something like:
Kemba
JB
JT
Grant?
TT or DT
and leave Smart to rule the bench mob.

Think Smart & Bembry could patch things up???

What's their beef against each other? I don't remember.

Smart said something like Bembry crossed the line, said things you shouldn't say. Something like that.

I’m worried about Jason Tatum’s Max Extension! Hope Ainge doesn’t play around with Tatum

Still no confirm on how the TT contract was structured, a 2 year deal or 1+1.
Thanks Brad for answering my ad,
"Boston Celtics Barbershop, cutters wanted."
But after KP, your C play? You broke my heart Fredo.

Better be 1 with a team option otherwise they're just gonna have to dump him like Kanter next year.

He's a natural SG, a Klay type player. Not sure if he'll ever be as good but that's obviously the hope because his game is so similar. Jaylen is a natural SF so he should should be better at the 3 where his limited handle, BBIQ and playmaking is minimized. I see a lot of people worried about Smart starting and I don't get why they think he will. Nesmith should start. If he doesn't eventually start this season it means I'm completely wrong about him.

I'd love to start him as well. Kinda do what MIA did and take some lumps early for the later gain. I think it comes down to how quick he can be playable on D. If he's lost, him & Kemba is tough. But, if he's at least not a huge negative, then you play thru it to get him up to speed.

Wait, Nesmith has better playmaking ability and handle than Jaylen Brown now?

Tatum will be resigned after the Charlotte situation is resolved.

Wings:

Tatum, Brown, Smart, Nesmith, Grant Williams, Langford, Semi.

We are fine there. It’s not a major need.

I expect Grant to be more ready and get more minutes going into his 2nd season. He can play PF/C/ and SF. I expect his offensive game to improve along with his rebounding.

I think Marc should have stuck with his plan to ride off into the sunset and finish his career in Spain. Dude is washed.

Lakers are downgrading from Howard to Gasol. And the Raps lost Ibaka and Gasol so they def need a big. Maybe that's where Baynes ends up.

One more good move by Ainge and I am ready to feel excited about the upcoming season (and to say sorry to Danny if necessary haha).

I feel we need another big for the bench so that Grant Williams or Semi don't get in the rotation. Someone like Saric?

I'm not really feeling Grant as a wing, or, honestly Semi. They can both play there. But neither are wings that are going to do typical wing things that people are saying we're short on - shot creation, penetration, etc. They are at best 3&D, stand in the corner wings.

Yeah that's an option but I don't really see Brad starting Theis and Thompson together. Rarely have two bigs on the floor at the same time.

Except neither can really shoot.
