Typical for every human being that cheers for a team. Sorry for my reaction. I'm fine with a retooling year, it just hurts to see some guys Goin another way. +lack of depth in the fc. I'm all in if it means to get a good pick and being a 7-8 seed team. And maybe trading Lowry until the deadline. But I don't see us getting a AAA+ baller in 2021. Think it's our destiny just to wait until someone gets unhappy.

Idk if this has been mentioned, but Atlanta has such a glut of big men and I found it interesting that they drafted Okongwu when he was already being heavily compared to Clint Capela (Capela was the NBA comp I was seeing 2nd most for Okongwu after Bam Adebayo).

You think we can pry Capela from ATL? Salary-cap wise Powell + Davis do it, would we need to throw in a pick? Powell would give them a scoring wing.

Yeah, I do not want to trade away our 2021 1st round pick. We are a Lowry or VV injury away from potential lottery. That pick could turn into a possible star with the way Masai/Webster draft.

I would want a strong return if we have to trade our 1st round pick away, even if its heavily protected.

What about LMA for 1 year? Kind of a win-now move. Some combination of Norm/TD/McCaw/Johnson/2nds for LMA. May require a 3rd team as the Spurs have way too many guards.

yes. he doesn't have a winning attitude but it doesn't matter. he provides exactly what we need in rebounding/rim protection and im sure he'll ball out for a big contract in 2021

I want to bring in Bruno for the back up SF/PF spot. The only time he got any significant minutes was in Memphis where they used him as a PF and he did pretty well. They ended up getting Clarke and then he was released and used as a center last year in short stints with SAC and HOU.

On the Grizz he put up 8/5/2/1 in 23 mins over 34 games.
