I think Bud must teach that?, because the Bucks defend that way all the time. Bledsoe, Patty C, Donte et al all have done that the last couple seasons. We definitely needed a go-to wing defender.

It’s definitely part of their overall D philosophy. Challenge the shots from behind if you can’t fight over the screen. Keeps the ball handler uncomfortable (never know if you’re about to get blocked or stripped from behind) and funnels them into Brook and Giannis in the lane.

I never thought it was their D that did them in the last two years. I always thought it was the offense going on those cold, no baskets for five minute stretches, which allowed the other team to get baskets against a defense that was never set because they were defending off missed shots and turnovers.

He's what James Innis thinks he is on defense.

Sorry but no.

But no what? Craig isn't on the roster to score. He's a versatile bench defender. Pat was terrible in the playoffs last year and he's a guard.

Bud's head is spinning with all the rotations he can come up with now. Giannis may average even less minutes. Ugh

Great signing, this allows so much more flexibility in rotations.

I’m really surprised he didn’t get more money from a team like the Timberwolves. Glad to have him though. Needed a big wing defender

Below replacement levels players usually get the minimum.

OK, that's pretty funny.

Craig was 64th amongst SFs in RPM, with -1.99

Pat plays mostly SF for us. Craig was also terrible in the playoffs. The failures of him and Gary Harris lead to G League PJ Dozier getting WCF rotation minutes.

Yeah Craig can defend, but at 29 he's maxed out and he's just not good enough at anything else to be actual contributor.

I love it. Not a great player by any stretch but clearly a useful one. I'm shocked at how much Den relief on him only to pick up Hartenstein and Millsap ahead of him.

Their D is going to get decimated without Craig and JGrant.

Would have preferred a guy who needs to be guarded a little but we really needed a wing defender. This is fine.

When we next play Boggie, he will first have to deal with Jrue defense (Tray will get the shorter starting guard, whoever is on that night). During a stop play Jrue is called to the bench and BB thinks he will breathe a little. That's when Craig comes in to take his soul...

Not sure who this guy is, but based on what you guys are saying this is the kind of guy I wanted added to the roster. Good stuff.

A useful defender who'll have a role for us against opposing wings. Wish he could bring anything offensively. Will thrive more with Giannis on the bench.

He's a monster physically, one of very few people who can actually guard Giannis

Wait, I was just told by multiple Bucks board posters that it looks like he gets beat off the dribble easily and only recovers because of his length and athleticism (based off of one video). Could these posters be ...........wrong?
