if Marc really wants to go to the Lakers, is a s&t with the Lakers for McGee a terrible idea? We still keep our MLE and of course JaVale is expiring. Maybe we could get a 2nd out of it

I think we're working with the Lakers and will end up with McGee (hopefully with some kind of positive asset as well - maybe a pick swap or 2nd?).

turning nothing into something is better than the reality of having literally no centers on our roster currently. I think it's obvious now Marc isn't coming back, but also wants his money so is willing to work out a s&t. If it's just for McGee than its 4.2 million, if Morris is also coming our way on a 1yr deal that's more that Marc can get while we still keep our MLE to spend on another C.
