It's a question of wanting to win it all this year, or not.

If we want to win THIS year, we will need Marc against: Joel, Giannis & Tristan in the East, and potentially to foul out against AD or Jokic in the West.

And if Pascal doesn't sh*t the bed again, we have just as good of a chance as anyone else. (We were 13-4 without Serge, everyone will be 1 year better, Lowry won't decline enough, if at all.)

Hope he plays decent enough, and flip him for a few seconds at the deadline if (when?) we are out of it. If not he is a good veteran. That being said we will need other bodies if he is the starter.
