Gallinari (and D Hunter) at PF are perfect complements to Capela at Center. Much more natural fits than Collins.
Is Danilo meant to start at SF next to JC and CC? Is that better?

Gallo will play at 3/4. Don't care who starts. Add a nice vet PG, re-sign Skal and ready for the season

Capela / OO / Bruno
JC / Skal
Hunter / Gallo
Cam / Heurt / Snell
Trae / Vet / Goodwin

We still have Bogi supposedly signing today as well. Make whatever trade they are thinking, get a vet PG, resign Skal and Bembry to minimums and let’s roll it.

I get the feeling that it was Gallo or Bogi. Doubt both... A PG sure

As we approach noon, I'm coming around to the notion that if Schlenk can't land any of the actual second tier of 2020 free agent cohort... ie...

Hayward (probably not, but I still don't think IND and BOS will be able to figure some acceptable exchange out w/ their current inventories);

Van Vleet (probably not b/c it just doesn't seem to be either side's best option regardless in terms of depth chart fit); or,

Bogdanovic
...

It's time to just sign guys to 1 year contracts and punt to 2021.

DON'T use that cap space just b/c you have it. YOU STILL have ONE MORE off-season to see if you can get some major talent to drop in your lap.

That graphic looks good, but I’d put CC on the additions side since he never played a game for us last year. We’ve definitely added tons of talent and experience.

Covid season. Depth at a premium. Nah, we're good. Talk to us again next off-season, and we'll re-visit then.

(Nice to see everyone coveting what we got, right?)

Nah. I’m most interested in the PG rotation. Other than that, Snell seems like end-of-the-bench guy we’ll use in a crunch but not a regular rotation player. I don’t know where he’s getting Okongwu at 4 from but I’m confident Gallo is playing most his minutes there. I think it makes the most sense for him to come in after JC but we’ll see. Not to mention Capela likely isn’t finishing games so we have a handful of frontcourt combos to throw out there in any situation. Cam or Hunter should start at 3, whoever doesn’t is the immediate backup. Huerter and Dunn compete for minutes behind Bogi, as Dunn otherwise plays PG whenever Trae and Rondo are sitting.

We’re fine. I’m tired of everyone pressuring us to trade our players away.

If Kings don't match, it's the best draft/offseason since... a long time
The more I think about what has be done, the more I think that even if it ends up not being perfect, we will have the perfect pieces to trade for Gobert.
Everybody talk about Giannis, but I'm sure Gobert is already the plan B, and maybe the plan A in case a futur trade is needed, but I hope it can work with that roster

I've been following the Hawks for well over 20 years and I really can't remember an off-season that was even remotely as successful as this year. I remember how frustrated everyone was back when Billy Knight was the GM. Danny Ferry did a decent job but never even close to what TS has been doing. It may have taken a few years but he has done everything he could with the chips he was given.

I am so excited about this team. The pressure really is on LP because he has to figure out all the rotations with 10-12 players that deserve to play.

I have a feeling that LP will be leaning heavily on Nate McMillan for guidance so that should help in that regard. We should (barring injuries) be able to shuffle everyone around enough to keep everyone fresh. Of course there will be a few players that won't see much playing time with a roster this stacked, but thats a pretty good problem to have.

Soberly, it is not hard to imagine any of the new acquisitions being disappointments when all is said and done. The best asset is 32 years old.

This is why BogBog is key. He is the one acquisition that is at an age and who has shown a trajectory that Hawks fans have true reason to be excited. Other than him, Schlenk just went on a shopping spree with the money saved/earned from, in effect, starving the roster for 3 years.

Snell is being undersold. He started foe good Bucks teams. He has 40% from three 4 years straight, can play 2-4 and is a really good defender.

I know we paid Gallo a lot, but I’m seeing him as our 6th. I’d rather start Cam at 3 than Gallo. Someone is going to have to play defense in the starting 5 or Capela will be in foul trouble from the opening tip. Gallo as first man off the bench will torch a lot of teams.
